Promises are made to be broken.

So why do people keep on promising certain things that they cannot keep.

Was it an excuse?

Or an escape in reality.

Do we really need to put our trust to their words?

"I promise to stay by your side and protect you YN" Mikey said while sitting next to me at the nearby river admiring the view.

"Thank you Mikey-kun!" you muttered while looking at his side profile, he's really handsome.

That was 4 years ago.

When he made the promise, you almost forgotten everything that happened back then.

Mikey broke up with you and became a leader of a very notorious and dangerous gang named "Bonten".

You are managing your business as a cofee shop owner while taking care of your 4 year old son.

You never seen Mikey after the break up.

He never knew about your pregnancy and because you hide it from him.

Its not easy to lie about the kid's father. He resembles him.

'he promise to stay by my side but where is he now?'

You tried to forget everything about him and choose to live a peaceful life. Away from all the troubles and stress for the sake of your son.

You were still friends with Mitsuya and Chifuyu. Their shops are just next to yours.

Chifuyu has a petshop while Mitsuya owns a clothing boutique and tailoring.

You have the same exact routine everyday. Opening the shop, managing and closing it.

After the long day of working you were always coming home excited to see your son, he would always greet you with a wide smile and giving you a warm embrace.

Its was Sunday and you decided to close the shop early, you wanted to get some groceries and maybe watch some Disney movies at home together with your baby.

You were standing at the front of your coffee shop while waiting for a taxi when you heard a faint screaming at the nearby alley.

What was that?

As you walk closer to check it out, the person sounds like he is in deep pain and keep gasping for air.

You reach the alley and hide on the pile of garbage to take a peek on what's happening. This is a bad idea and im being so stupid for doing this but i cant help it.

You're eyes widened when you saw 5 men laying on the ground and probably dead as there are pool of blood beneath them.

Only one guy was alive and kneeling, he was begging for his life.

What is happening.

You saw a pink-haired guy pointing a gun on his head with a silencer.

You gasped but immediately cover your mouth.

I need to get out of here.

You stood up and ran as fast as you can.

You wanted to forget everything. What did i just witness.

The next morning, you were spacing out while looking at the street.

Two costumer ordered a brewed coffee and americano, you can hear them talking about the incident last night so you went closer to eavesdrop.
