This is kind of like how I get the idea from Cultist Simulator and Cold Shot. What if an assassin killed a cultist and then he became a cultist?

Character Information: Formerly a hired assassin and contract killer working to kill some dude in a house, after he tried to get in the house to check if he done it right, Spencer goes from a cold-blooded assassin working of his paycheck to a cultist assassin that delved into the occult after being contacted by unknown being that gives him powers and immense eldritch proportions. Wearing his iconic suit, fedora and a Guy Fawkes Mask, which a white mask with a smile, mustache, goatee and squinted eyes, Spencer will go out of his way to gather followers and any sense of materials in his way, committing sacrifices through assassination and all the heretical acts anyone can expect from an occultist that will do anything to achieve ultimate power and ultimate immortality by any means necessary.
Powers and Abilities: Before delving into the occult, Spencer is just a normal human albeit very skilled assassin, cold-blooded and ruthless enough to get his hands dirty and skilled in all manner of gunfire.
After delving unintentionally stumbling into his target's home where he found out something, Spencer becomes an assassin with sorceress abilities of eldritch proportions, granting him magical powers and if he can advanced himself from his stature, can become a humanoid abomination that can mutate his body with all the eldritch aspects possible alongside alongside finally ascending from his mortal form to become a God.

The powers that Spencer stumbled upon has granted him powers beyond mortal comprehension and make his assassination job in his daily days due to how no one has any idea how to actually counter it (until later that is) and having magical powers is also pretty cool.
Inside every human is a piece of energy that remains dormant and yet, it has been neglected for centuries as magic has become nothing but a myth to everybody. Until Spencer and his own target himself, found it out.
Usually, it isn't nothing overly destructive. All Spencer's magical abilities includes being turned invisible, a slight manipulation in telekinesis, mind reading, mind manipulation, X-Ray Vision, learn every language and basically making him stronger.
