You know, as much as Overlord has become far more popular lately, there is no denying that anyone can be apathetic due to how seriously dark the series is.
I mean, we were supposed to be sympathetic to Ainzbut all we see is a coward of a guy who can't grow a backbone. And his creations are nothing but more villainous beings with immense cruelty that we are supposed to root for them?
All the while, this also includes even the 'villains' of the story who are just grabbing the ball of villainy and stupidity like their life depends on it.
Overall, Overlord is maybe where it is an Escapist Fantasy but no one is innocent or heroic.
They are very few and far between and the 'Heroes's' extreme actions does not get payed of the consequences they have done to themselves.
So, you know what? For every Isekai about you being transported to a world that can be explained with RPG systems, this big bad (or big good) will showcase what. ___________________________________________

Character Information: A mysterious entity that ruled over the digital world, GM, known primarily as either Game-Master or God-Machine, is the one that causes people to become their avatar and do their thing out of escapism and such and when they finally have their fun, GM will show up and show them that despite their gifts, they are nothing compared to an entity like him.
Polite, eloquent, magnificent, dangerously intellectual and omnipotent, GM is a being that cannot be comprehended by mortal means and this insidious entity that cannot be defeated through power alone is something that all people must know: do not forget your past self. You are but a mortal. And mortals need to learn that they are nothing.
Powers and Abilities: GM is an omnipotent and all-powerful that existed in a digital world and has the power to pull anyone to the digital world out of interest and his warped sense of fulfilling their wishes.
Enigmatic and insanely powerful, it is unknown to what GM's goal is and what is his purpose for sending people to a game and then teach them a lesson in embracing the power fantasy. Operating on a plan that no one has any idea what it is, GM is basically the closest to a truly powerful omnipotent God-like entity that is capable of warping reality to his will and his very behaviour, being smug, arrogant and sadistic, showcase that it isn't neutral.
In person, it is beyond the depth of anyone's ability to defeat it. GM is the one that sent people to become their avatars and he is a God of the digital world. So why the hell would he be affected by anything?
GM himself can manipulate anything in the new world such as it's people to its powers, statistics and any other and GM's mind is very incomprehensible and he is just an entity that cannot be understood. As it is spoken.
GM himself is not an entity that should have been defeated conventionally. GM encompasses even an entire universe and he is very intellectually capable on an absolute cosmic eldritch level.
Regardless, it is still unknown to what it's end goal is. He sent people to the game an avatar for what reason? Nobody knows. All that can be known however is he works in mysterious ways and we don't like that.
Weapons and Equipment: GM doesn't have much in regards towards weaponry and equipment. While GM does carry a form which is some kind of flying formless body of data and a humanoid body that looks abstract, GM doesn't need weaponry. But it does need technology and the ways he pulls people to the gaming world through computers, phones and a pod for virtual gaming showcase that it does need technological equipment to do it. Regardless, it is also unknown if that is true since GM isn't really some kind of digital sentient machine and is basically an entity that is just beyond scientific explanation.

"Ainz. How goes the fun in being Overlord of your Guild your friends have made? Pretty great, isn't it. Yes, indeed. Tell me. Was it all worth it? To kill, murder and torture people for fame and glory? Do you regret everything after you murdered that scum? I wouldn't blame you. But I cannot believe you are so naive and weak. All the power that rest in you and you are still the nervous who can't act like the person you ought to be. And what do you expect when your army is comprised of all the evils of the world? I tell you. You are only wasting your time acting like an Overlord when you could have done something worthwhile instead of being a villain of this new world. This is now where you will finally realized that you are no longer in control with your lives anymore. Your powers will do nothing. Your influence will do nothing. All your efforts are for nothing. And now, you will finally realized how truly insignificant you are. Remember the time when you play your game only for everything to be gone for good? I can do that to you? And you can't do anything. You know, no one has ever given the driving question in Overlord of how did they get transported in the first place.
Or if all their adventures in the new world is actually all a myth and nothing is real. Seriously, does no one ever question that?
It could be an interesting story about finding who is sending them to the new world without their consent and all they can do is, 'You know what, who cares. I want to live my life as a fantasy character. Goodbye cruel reality. Goodbye'.
