Joan Maplewood x male reader

This character appeared in the season 3 episode 8 "Under wraps".Many don't remeber this character and is often ignored.I wanted to be thorough and include as many characters so here you go.

We see a desert road where only scenery change is an occasional grassy hill.Then an empty car slowly enters the view.Instead of the drivers seat,the driver was behind the car pushing it.He lost all his money on the last gas fill up.Eventually his car had broken down in front of a wooden gate belonging to a farm nearby.He walked in on the property where he found a women spreading manure.

Y/N:Exuse me ma'am?

Joan:Well howdy.How can I felp you stranger?

Y/N:My car broke down and it needs a mechanic.Also I dont have anywhere to stay.

Joan:Sorry to say but I alredy called a mechanic to fix my tractor and he said hell get here in a week or so.As for your other problem you can stay here free of charge.

Y/N:Really?Thanks.

Then the kind mothery farm girl curved her lips into a smirk.

Joan:Theres just something you need to do.

Y/N:O-K?

She toosed the showell at him and he almost droped it both because of his lack of strenght and working habits.He just looked at her in a comfused matter.

Joan:As long as you live on this farm you work on this farm.Start now and by the end of the day youll hear a bell which means supper.You look like you could use some home cooking.

Y/N then started to showell the disgusting yet oddly usefull cow product.The stench was umberable but the worst part was the large field in need of manure.By the time he finished it was alredy past the sunset.And thats when he heard a bell and Joan yelling dinner.When he menaged to walk up to the house he was almost too tired to wash his hands.But between tiredness and manure labor,stench was stronger so he washed them anyway.Upon entering the kitchen his eyes layed on the most beautyfull sight he had seen since beggining of his trip.The kitchen table was filled with mashed potatos,still smoking bread,biggest roasted chicken he ever saw and even a pie.Tears almost fell down his cheeks from such a sight.He took a seat to Joans right after which he saw a black heared kid in overalls sit opposite of him holding a very happy pig.

Joan:This is my son Todd.Todd,this is the man I told you about.Hes gonna be helping around on the farm.

Todd:Thank you sir.

Y/N:Please just call me Y/N.

Todd:How did you got stranded?

Y/N:Well in short my parents tought I had no skills and wanted me to work in my dads building to take care of the bills.I wanted to prove them wrong so I went to make a name for my self.

Joan:Alright thats enough talk.Better eat up cause theres a long day tommorow.

Y/Ns P.O.V.

I didnt want to be rude so I supressed my hunger and waited for them to start.But seing the kid dig in and pig eating by his side made me join in since I ate nothing but cactus and what I menaged to cought.

Timeskip

That was the best meal in my life.I decide to drown down the feast with milk Joan left for us.

Y/N:Mmm.Its delicious.

Joan:Thanks.Its home made.

I was mildy comfused about that senstence.Being in the middle of nowhere and all.

Y/N:Huh?

Joan:We have a couple of cows in the barn.Todd,why dont you show our guest his room.

Y/N:(Right,were on the farm.)
