Emily x Male Reader 50th story

It was an early morning in Bellwood where school was just few blisfull minutes away from starting.One of the students was running a bit late had been cought in a predicament.Emily,a wheelchair bound best friend of Gwen Tennyson,was stuck in front of the few stairs leading to the school.Usually somebody would help her out but this time she was the only one in her class that was late.She was looking down at her hand she held together on the cold air when she felt her wheelchair being moved.

???:Need a hand?

Emily turned back as much as she could to see the a smiling face of a H/C haired boy her age.

Emily:Thanks,Im Emily.I dont think I saw you here before.

???:I just moved here recently.Im Y/N by the way.

Emily:Nice to meet you.Hey,what class do you go to?Maybe I know their schedule.

Y/N:Im joining (random class).

Emily:Thats my class.

Y/N:Small world.

He pushed her to their class,following her directions and the classroom door.Y/N introduced himself to the class and everything went as it usually does.Sometimes later it was the time for lunchbreak.Y/N sat alone at the end of the table when he heard a slight metal screech next to him.It was Emily who rested her lunch on the edge of the table.

Emily:Thanks again for pushing me to the classroom.

Y/N:It was no problem,really.Just glad to help.

Emily:So what made you move to Bellwood?

Y/N:My parents got better job offers so we had to move.But I heard Bellwood is very interesting.

Emily:It can be a bit,loud.But for the most cases its the same like any other city.If you need any help just ask.

Y/N:Thanks.I didn't have many friends in my old school.Burden of the over achievers.

Emily:I know how it feels.But at least I have Gwen.We were friends since kindergarten so we still keep in touch.

Y/N:Sounds nice.

Emily:Not always.Shes been busy ever since she spent a summer with her cousin.I barely got to see her at all.

Y/N:Im sure she tries her hardest to make it.And you must have planty of friends.

Emily:Mostly just Gwen.That reminds me,I have to get her this yougurt.See you later.

She pushed herself away from the table and went to look for Gwen.Y/N was left alone at the table wondering about what she said.Her face didnt show it but she sounded sad.If Gwen cant spend enough time with her Y/N would try as much as possible to spend time with her.

She needs a friend wholl be there for her.And who better that a new student protagonist.Almost a universal rule.After a while school ended and Emily had headed home after saying foodbye to Gwen.She was still close to school grounds when Y/N cough up to her.

Y/N:Hey Emily.

Emily:Y/N,youre not going home?

Y/N:Not right away.I was hoping we could hang out a bit.

Emily:Sure.You dont mind me first going to my house to leave the bag right?
Y/N:Not at all.Well just take a longer walk.Oh,sorry.

Emily:Dont worry,I know you didnt mean anything by it.

After she dropped her school bag at her home,Emily and Y/n went to park.On the way they bought some ice cream,talked about their induvidual childhoods and their interests.
