Part 20 # First Proposal Shocks

Susheela is still trying to escape but those boys have captured her strongly. They are 5 or 6 in numbers but Susheela is alone. She thinks of only Pramod at that time.

"(In mind) If Pramod were here, even I don't know what he would have made of these guys! But my fate...!"

Suddenly someone comes shouting and expels all the guys from there.
As Susheela is very deeply dreaming of Pramod, her mind makes her think the guy who came to save her is one & only Pramod. But removing the black cloth from her eyes, she gets her sense back & is left shocked seeing Veer standing in front of her. The smile of a moment imagining Pramod gets perished & her feelings get razed within a second. She feels like forgetting each & every memory of her. Now even if she doesn't want to, she has to believe, that Pramod is not here. He will be not here.. for 3 years. Then why is she dreaming of him so much? Why is she expecting him everywhere?
The door of the dream gets suddenly knocked.

"Susheela? Susheela...?"

"(Shockingly) Hm, Hmm?"

"Umm, you don't need to worry, those boys were some of our class & perhaps are jealous of Pramod, so... they just came to disturb you a bit.. More than that, they can't even do anything... they don't even keep the courage to do anything wrong with anyone.. I guess you can go now..."

"Yeah... thank you."

"(Nods head to both sides)"

Susheela leaves college with an unwanted feeling and fear. Fear of what? She has the fear if she is compelled to get married with someone else... She can't trust her father now.. and also those disturbing neighbours & relatives. As she is not feeling well, so she decides to go somewhere. The place is, the favourite one of Pramod. It's behind a park where there is a huge pond artificially decorated to sit beside. Susheela goes there & sits. A sweet smile with light happiness covers her face & the reason are two. Number one is, the pond where she is enjoying the fast fresh air blowing a few hairs of her of both sides. Reason two is, Pramod. Why? She is feeling that whatever Pramod did, is only for his own as well as his lady. To ensure a better future, better career. Who knows? He may also help her to achieve her dreams for future? Whatever, Susheela wants him to stay happy always wherever he lives. She is sure and proud of her trust on Pramod that he will never leave her alone & according to his promise, whenever time allows, he will surely marry Susheela. Her mind gets relaxed & she feels as if the pond & this environment helped her leave all the tensions in a dustbin of mind. However, diving in these thoughts, Susheela doesn't realise when & how she passed one & half an hour sitting in that natural hospital which gave her the perfect treatment for her stress, worries & many more.
She might have sat for some more time if she had not to receive the call of her best friend, Priyanka.

"Hmm speak up.. why didn't you appear at college today?"

"Susheela leave these talks, first come home soon & see what's going on!"

"What? Priyanka, what's going on? What are you saying?"

"I just came at your home Susheela to take some notes for not attending college but here you're vanished & your family members are arranging something new..."

"(Silent- shocked) (in mind) Is it something related to my...
No, no, no..."

"Will you come now? Or will delay some more hours?"

"No Priyu I'm coming, you just take care there, by the way what's exactly happening?"

"Susheela they are talking about a proposal of marriage! Didn't you inform them about Pramod clearly?"

"This is what I thought! Ufff!!!"
*Call cuts off*

Susheela runs towards her home as fast as possible. She just enters and notices Dharampal's friends discussing something. Of course she understands it's her marriage issue.

"Papa, I need to talk to you.."

"Hmm tell.."

"Papa, you're again doing these for..."

"Yes, for your marriage."

"But why, papa? Don't you know everything?"

"I know already everything, you don't have to teach me anymore.."

"(Friend) Listen dear, Pramod will come back after 3 years, and now it's the correct age for your marriage... One should not be late in this thing, okay? Maybe, you like someone else within this long span of time?"

"Then what do I do? Break his trust on me? The trust that he has on me that I'll wait until he returns?"

"Yes, you have to keep trying, Susheela! (Little anger) Dharampal, you liked this guy, right? Let's send them the proposal.."

"Uncle at least first tell me who the guy is.."
