Part 17 # Talks of The Point

"What? Maybe? Sushi, aren't you happy?"

"Priyanka, Pramod is achieving something great in his life and of course I'm happy for that! But, the issue is, he doesn't want to marry me right now...He only wants to focus on his career and also needs sometime! But he doesn't know, how I will suffer here sticking with him for my irritating neighbours & relatives.. Everyday they will come with new relations & to provoke papa against his daughter as well as Pramod."

"I think, you guys should discuss more about it and also try to make Dharampal uncle understand the situation. Oh yeah, why don't you ask him to just get engaged with you as uncle said before? Then, he can leave you here!"

"Priyu I said, right? That he doesn't want to get married now? When I asked him about our marriage...

*Flashback (previous part)*
"What about our marriage, Pramod?"

"We will surely think about that.. But, don't you think Susheela ji you should also dream for your future? My point is, why to do so hurry just to get married? We can do that later too, right? Well, forget these things, my promise to you is, whenever we do, we will get married for sure & no one can ever separate us... Okay?"
*Flashback ends*

"Then I got simply teary eyed because I knew, what Pramod said, is not so easy to perform... The main struggles are yet to come, Priyanka!"

"Hmmm..."

However, after college, Pramod doesn't meet Susheela so she returns home with Priyanka. Entering home, Susheela sees Dharampal sitting coming back from shop and drinking water at the moment. In this chance, she tries to go up silently as she knows that she has to face a lot of questions. But fate doesn't support her. Dharampal notices Susheela.

"Susheela!"

"(Fake smile) Yes papa.. Papa I just returned home... so can I go to freshen up?"

"Wait.. listen, did you ask Pramod about marriage? What did he say? I got to know that exams got ended 10 days ago?"

*Susheela in mind- Marriage, marriage, marriage! The entire day they only care about marriage! Not their daughter...*
"Papa, (sitting beside) Pramod has got an extraordinary opportunity of going abroad where he will study for 3 years and...(Describes the whole story)... So, he is not agreed to marry me now."

"(Gloomy faced) Then what do you want? To keep you waiting for him 3 years more? Dear I told you so many times that marriage is an important part of life! We shouldn't be late in this! And you...Now what should I tell...
*An idea gets unlocked in mind*
"Listen, you ask Pramod to take you with him.. You both can stay there, and nobody will face any problem!"

"But papa I'm also studying, right? This year I'm in 1st so how can I..."

"Ohh.. Your studies are not that important as it seems to you.. You can easily go with him!"

"(Gets furious) Papa how can you say that? I'm also a student and I also have some dreams for my future! How can I leave my studies just for someone else?"

"(Angry) Fine! Now everything is already decided! Then why are you here for my permission? I don't know anything!"

Susheela feels too bad & goes to her room. Suddenly, she decides to call Pramod.

"Hello Susheela.."
*Can't finish*

"If you want to keep this relation, then come home with uncle to make my papa agree."

"But.."

"I don't have anything else to say, please do as I told you..."

"Okay okay, Susheela ji no problem, I and dad are just coming to your place."

Susheela cuts the phone.

Both Pramod and Jay come to Ruhail house to talk with Dharampal. Dharampal repeats those ideas he gave Susheela but the talk of the point doesn't move that Pramod does not want to marry so early before setting up his career. He could have thought about it more if the examination & the scholarship offer was not there. However, trying so much Dharampal can't change any decision of anyone and Pramod along with his dad take leave from Susheela's home.
