Flashback:

So the following days in your life passed and passed.
You've felt nothing.
It was all numb.
Your life felt like it was falling apart.
Apart because you didn't knew what to do anymore.
Those rumors that Fred had bought a ring were true.
George told you himself at the last quidditch practice.

Your eyes glued Fred and Angelina as they walked away holding each other. You sat down on the wet grass at the quidditch field.
Your eyes up at the blue sky as coldness had spread in your body.
It seemed like nothing could stop this numb feeling you had.

"So you've heard about it?" George's soft voice asked as he sat down beside you.
You nodded with a broken smile on your face.
"I'm sorry- I- I always thought you two would en-" George whispered but got cut off by you staring at him. He noticed the way your eyes didn't look happy anymore. He knew you were shattered. And I've cold feeling had spread in your heart as you looked into George's eyes. Of course he'd notice that everything you did was just faking. But else could you do?
It was over.
There were no second chances.

There maybe could've been one but once again Fred decided to leave. He left and ripped your heart right out of your chest, leaving nothing but a cold feeling in there.

"One day I'll get over it. No matter how long it'll take." You finally managed to say.
George's arm wrapped around you as he pulled you into a deep hug.
"I'll always be there..no matter what my stupid brother did...you'll always be my family y/n." George whispered as he placed das soft kiss on your head. His arm still wrapped around you as both of your faces were looking up. Up to the beautiful sky.
It was a cold and rainy day.

"Can you remember the days at the burrow where all of us kept playing quidditch no matter if it rained or not?" You asked George with a sweet chuckle.

"I could never forget those days." George smiled softly.

"I miss it. I miss this feeling of not having to care what the next day would bring." You whispered with glass eyes.
Both of you knew that you were talking about Fred.

"How's Oliver treating you?" George questioned as he looked at you again.

"It's alright." You whimpered with your eyes glued on a mark on your hand. Within a second you had covered up that mark.

George's eyebrows furrowed as he noticed the worried look on your eyes. There was this nervousity in your eyes.
"Are you sure about That?" George questioned once more.
You remained to be silent and this insecure feeling in George's stomach was growing.
His fingers wandered up to your chin and titling your head up and making you look into his brown eyes. A soft sight escaped your lips as you didn't manage to lie even more.

"I have a future with him." You weakly smiled at one of your best friends.

"No matter what happens y/n, I want you to know that I don't care what Fred says and if you ever need help I'll be there. No matter when." George added as his fingers still held your chin.

"I'll keep that in mind." You whispered with a soft voice, only leaning back into his arm again.

End of flashback.

One last salty tear was rolling down your cheek as you thought about this wonderful memory about you and George a few weeks ago.
He had to be the best friend in the world.
But you didn't want to cry anymore...it didn't hurt anymore.
In fact you couldn't even cry anymore.
Your life was only about putting a fake smile on your face and pretending to be happy.
To be happy with Oliver, even if he wasn't easy.
