" Ian is this really necessary...do I really have to come with you" Y/N grumbled while fixing the cufflinks of her crisp black Ermenegildo tux that her brother had personally picked for her. It was 7 pm in the evening and the Ford siblings were getting ready for a partnership meeting that they had to attend. The Ford corporation was famous in the Global Commercial Real Estate and marketing industry, they also had a wide variety of hotels and resorts in various parts of the USA. The company was the heart and soul of Y/N's dad and was something their grandfather had started but now there was nobody else in the picture, it was just Ian and Y/N. After the death of her mother Y/N didn't know where her dad went. She grew up with only Ian and their long time butler Dimitri by her side. When the time finally came Ian took over as the CEO of the company and he, just like his dad was deeply devoted to their family business. He knew that one day Y/N would have to take over and work with him therefore Ian didn't want to stress the 18 year old out but he was persistent that his little sister knew everything about their company. Therefore during times like these when he had big shot partnership meetings he took Y/N along with him , so she herself could learn and he could see how good his sister was with what she knew.

" Y/N this is really important...and please you are just gonna sit around puffing stuff. And I wanna see how good my little sisters debating skills are. You need to make a banging impression this time , it has to come to the point that their company would be nothing without us" Ian had his signature smirk and mystic gleam in his eyes as he tightened Y/N's tie.

Ian had been more devoted and completely into his business after his breakup. Y/N knew all about it, she clearly and vividly remember the day she saw her brother crying for the first time in her whole 18 years of life, she still remembers how he sat down next t her and asked her " I am always a second aren't I ". Y/N was now convinced that 2018 was their worst year . She knew her brother had moved on but he never threw away the promise ring that he and his girlfriend shared. They were high school sweethearts, and she usually came and visited Y/N as well. She almost saw her as a big sister that she never had but then everything changed when she cheated on Ian.  Y/N wondered how anybody could reject her brother, he was incredibly handsome, caring and loved his girlfriend to his core. Ian was someone who gave utmost importance to loyalty therefore on finding out his girlfriend had cheated on him with a one night stand he was torn . He never went for any women after that, he moved on but he couldn't picture anybody else other that her to be the love of his life . But liars and cheaters had no space in his life and thus the only women in his life who he loved more than his life is Y/N.
