𝐿𝑒𝑡 𝑚𝑒 𝑖𝑛𝑡𝑜 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 ℎ𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑡

" what is going on why are you dragging me..I swear I'm going to whack y..." Maddy is interrupted by Billy suddenly coming to a hault.
The taller boy had been dragging her to find Cheryl, not that he really needed Maddy there but something told him that she would be better at consoling a crying girl than him.
" okay listen I need your help, so something happened between Y/N and Cheryl and now she's somewhere and Y/N asked me if we could find her and since I...may I say..am the perfect Casanova however I am not a good 'consoler' so I need you to talk to Cheryl..you know do your little girl magic or some shit" Billy had his arms crossed as he looked around trying to find the redhead.

Maddy on the other hand had a bored look on her face, " really......when is Cheryl going to realise...alright doesn't matter, you owe me one for this. I was having a good time"

Maddy for one knew that what we Cheryl had for Y/N was true, they all grew up together and anyone with eyes could see that the girl was smitten for Y/N, did Y/N feel the same..well, that, she isn't very sure about.
With her hands on her hip, Maddy replied " alright you go back and find Y/N or go home and I'll get Cheryl..ill text you....AND DONT GET HIT BY SOMEONE" Maddy had a sharp look on her face that reminded Billy of his mom, if it was up to him he would say that she was the most responsible person of the group, well not to her face ...never.
" alright Im going now chill out mama" Billy slightly pinched her waist as she slightly kicked him back, Billy dodged it as he winked at her and made his way out as he left Maddy to take care of the mission.

"Can't believe I have to clean up their mess" Maddy made her way to the bleachers, she knew the cheerleader well to know that her comfort place would be that.

The visual infront of Cheryl was blurry, her doe eyes had welled up with tears, not the sort of tears that flow down and give you the physical ease of letting your emotions out but the ones that stayed there and reminded you that you were infact alone . She didn't know what she was doing wrong, well she knew what she did wrong but that was in the past. The summer when Y/N's mom was found dead the girls were both young, really young to know how death worked, yes she left Y/N alone when that happened but she didn't know how to deal with that herself, she was young and she wasn't sure as to how she could console a heartbroken Y/N so she thought leaving her to process the emotions were better, once the bright rays of the summer faded a d the winter came along Y/N wasn't the same she used to be, she didn't talk to anyone, she didn't eat, her eyes told something different. Cheryl regrets that decision every day.
Her train of thoughts were interrupted when she heard soft footsteps on the side of the bleacher.
Maddy had finally made her way to the bleacher when she heard soft sniffles, slowly making her way to the seats, she sat down. The massive hall now a remnant of yesterdays game and noise.
" Y/N is...something....all I do know is that she really cares for you even though it may not seem like that" Maddy had a soft smile on her face, she felt bad for the poor girl but at the same time she knew Y/N wouldn't do something if she didn't have a reason behind it.
" I don't really think so anymore... it's like I don't even exist in her life anymore"

Cheryl wiped her eyes as she looks straight ahead, she wasn't used ti crying in-front of someone but she really needed to cry and let it all out and even though she didn't have much of a connection with Maddy, she respected Maddy for dropping the sorry ass of Nate and she felt safe enough to cry in-front of her.
" Cheryl...you aren't doing anything wrong, Y/N is just Y/N and you out of all people should know that, listen im sorry and I'm not trying to disregard your feelings but sometimes it's better to prioritise yourself and I think you need to let yourself breathe....okay you know what, me and you, we're going to do some retail therapy tomorrow and we'll eat yummy stuff, get stuff that makes us look sexy and out of this world..okay" Maddy had a determined and happy look on her face.

Seeing that Cheryl still had the same solemn look on her face Maddy said "sometimes it's nice to cry Cheryl, let it all out and once you're done you don't look back at why you cried or who made you cry, all you do is wipe those tears and walk out with your head high" saying that Maddy enclosed Cheryl in a big hug, the hug itself was all the redhead needed as she started to cry loudly.

Cheryl needed that, she needed a friend, a sister to hold onto and bawl her eyes out and that right there..... was the start of a very good friendship.
