The town was now quiet, nothing but little cats were on the street who were hurrying to get bak home so they could snuggle back in cowers with there owners, just like Megan who was now snuggled in the Camaro seat with her head tilted to the side as she watched the dark clouds in the sky. Different thoughts swirled in her mind as she thought back to what had happened an hour ago. Well, the last thing in her mind was going home with Y/N Ford out of all people, but it was time for her to get what she wanted. For the past whole year Megan lived in her boyfriends shadow, to a point where she lost her own light but not anymore.
Megan knew Y/N was not going to sweep her off her feet or anything, but she hoped that there was something there. She was sure that she saw something soft swirling in the taller girls eyes. Not to be the " I can change her" kind of girl because she herself was broken in ways that was irreparable. But Y/n Ford had a reputation of dumping her hookups as soon as they are done, except for Cheryl Blossom.
Cheryl blossom, Megan couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy hit her. Cheryl always had something special with Y/N, maybe its because they grew up together or maybe it's because the way Y/N rested a protective hand around Cheryl's waist whenever they were together with their group of friends. It was more than clear that Cheryl Blossom was the only women who had been with Y/N , maybe not as an official girlfriend. But the only women that could calm the taller girl down with her touch. Megan couldn't stop but think about the redheads conversation with Y/N right before their "heated cubicle fiasco"
Did Y/N just take everything out on her because Cheryl wasn't there?
Was she walking into another version of her romantic life last year filled with bruises and tears.
Megan was broken off of her chain of thoughts when the car came to a halt and she realised that they were right infront of the noirette's house.
" Megan right? " the taller girl looked through her side window, scanning the shorter girls home.
It was definitely smaller than her own house but for some reason she could feel something homely about the cozy light blue house infront of her, for a second she could picture Megan in the kitchen dancing around while she cooked. Shaking off her thoughts Y/N looked to the side.
" Yea.. uh thanks for dropping me by the way" The shorter girl subconsciously licked her lips, finding something to preoccupy herself with as the gorgeous girl right next to her scanned the noirette's face.
" well.. Its the least I could do after breaking your back sweetheart... get some sleep" The taller girl reached out to open the handle, causing Megan to take a deep breath in.
The noirette gingerly stepped outside closing the door behind her.
" listen I don't know what Nate said but..." before the shorter girl could finish her sentence, Y/N had rolled up her glasses and the rumble of the Camaro's engine filled the eery silence of the street as the taller girl took off with nothing, not even another glance at Megan.
" Yea..that was a nice conversation" The noirette ran her hand through her long dark hair as she watched the car disappear from the street.

The hall of east highland high was still filled with buzzling teenagers who, with the smallest amount of alcohol in their system were now dancing their heart out to the rhythm of Macarena when Billy Hargrove's phone started ringing.
" excuse me for a second sweetheart, I would love to eat you up but give me a second while I deal with this" smirking and leaving a kiss at a random girl, Bill pulled out his phone from his pocket and smirked as he saw Y/N's name on it.
" See..I was this close to getting some meow meow and you had to fuck it up" Billy scanned the room trying to find the rest of his friends.

" Janet from art? " the voice on the other side answered as Billy chuckled.
" How do you know me so well...anywho...you ruined it and for what asswipe"
Billy nudged Corey as soon as he found him along side a laughing Camilla, who answered with a nudge back. Smirking Billy walk outside the hall the sound of music now being drowned behind the gym doors as he leaned on the wall readjusting the phone on his ears.
" Bill I want you to check on Cheryl...I uh...just drop her back at home for me man" Billy's face was now contorted into a confused look as he fiddled through his pockets trying to find a cigarette.
" I thought you guys went home together..I mean..with your lunchtime heated encounter and you know " expensive gift" I thought you were taking her home?" Billy smirked as he placed the cigarette in his mouth.

" Don't go all " FBI" on me man and don't tell Maddy I left early , I'll fill you up on details later just do this for me"
With that the taller girl cut off her phone call not giving Billy another chance to speak.
"wait.. hey...hello.......asswipe" Billy muttered as he pulled the unlit cigarette out of his mouth and pushed open the gym door trying to find Cheryl.
