"You and y/n have been dating for quite a while" Topper says looking at Rafe as the 3 boys were all out drinking at the bar

Rafe sips his beer waiting for them to say something as he looks at Topper now not breaking eye contact

"You think you guys will get married" Kelce says breaking the tension

And there it was

Rafe just nods his head in response

"I have to ask for his blessing first" he says slowly

Topper and Kelce assume it was y/n's father and since Rafe and her started dating he was never a fan of him people talked and people talked loud enough for him to hear

Rafe wasn't a good guy

And that's not the kind of guy he had wanted for his daughter

"Good luck with that" Kelce says before laughing and patting his back

"Fuck you guys" he whispers chugging his drink

Y/n enters the roof top meeting Rafe and his friends here as he was smiling like walking towards him as some boys around her had whistled and stared before meeting eyes with Rafe that was already glaring at them as they quickly had turned around

"Jealous are we" she says while looking at her boyfriend

"I have to when I have a hot as fuck girlfriend" Rafe says defending himself kissing her cheek

"Hello boys" y/n says looking at both Kelce and Topper as they had greeted her with a hug and said there hellos.

"So how was work" Kelce asks y/n

"Still be working with them, Pogues" Topper adds before laughing

"When you marry Rafe you won't have to worry about that" Kelce adds

"Woah woah boys, Rafe has to ask me first and second I am still going to work even if I'm married or not" she says defending herself

Rafe smiles at his girl who was proudly defending herself as his two best friends were egging her on that she didn't have to work once she became a Cameron a that's what he loved about her

"He's going to be there when we get back" y/n says looking at her boyfriend

Not needing to say his name or reference him as her "dad" he was only one when it was convenient for him and he only is interest in her life now that she has money on her name

Especially hanging with a Cameron

He was a waste of space as y/n had one word to describe him

"Joy" he says looking at her

Rafe and her had left the rooftop and had headed back to his house as her dad was already inside and talking with Warren about there relationship probably. Now Ward Cameron was smart he had knew that her father was a fuck up and he knew that he was only here for y/n's money let alone his families

Ward just kept him occupied until they had arrived back home

The sound of the door had alerted them both as Ward had smiled once both his son and y/n had walked through the door

"Hello y/n always good to see you" Ward says hugging the girl

She smiles before looking at her dead beat dad waiting for his hug which she just stood in front of him staring at him not wanting to touch him

"Hello dad" she says looking at him

"What no hug from my only daughter" her father says holding his arms out

"Mm that we know of" y/n says looking at him

"You remember my boyfriend, Rafe" she says looking at Rafe that was already glaring at him

"Ah yes it's been 3 weeks right" y/n's father says looking at the two

"3 years" Rafe corrects him

"Actually can I talk to you outside, Sir" Rafe says looking at her dad

He was surprised before they both follow one another outside in the backyard as y/n watched them sit outside on the patio sitting across from one another

"What did you want to talk about, Cameron" her father says looking at him

"I wanna marry y/n"

"And I was asking for your permission" Rafe starts to say before being interrupted

"No" he says

"Excuse me" Rafe questions

"You heard me I said no I'm not letting my daughter be married to someone like you" y/n's father says looking at Rafe up and down

He looked at her father ready to beat the shit out of him but he knew y/n was watching inside the house. Before he starts laughing then looking at her dad glaring and clenching his fist then leaning in a bit closer to him

"You think I give a fuck what you think"

"She'll be my wife one day rather your breathing or not" he spits

"Is everything okay here" y/n says breaking the tension walking up to Rafe

"Just peachy" her father says glaring at Rafe
