RC: sorted out pt. 2

Recap

"Rafe fucking stop" Topper shouts

"It's not Sarah"

"It's just y/n"

Topper started doing CPR for a couple of minutes placing his hands on y/n's chest as her eyes were shut hoping that she would wake up any time now

"Come on y/n" he starts saying

He starts repeating the same routine as Rafe was just on the ground watching Topper struggle with trying to wake the girl up

"Rafe get out of here" Topper shouts

Rafe push's Topper to the side taking his place as his hands were pushing against her chest as water was coming out of her mouth and she was coughing for air

He steps back as Topper was he first one to comfort her looking at Rafe shocked and also confused y/n had tears in her eyes as her body was shaking

"Thank you" y/n pauses for a bit

"Topper" Rafe says before walking out

Topper just holds the girl looking at Rafe confused as he just softly smiles before walking out of the docks leaving just the two of them

Topper was a bit convinced if he should tell y/n that it was actually Rafe that had saved her and not him or if he should take the glory

Between y/n sobbing and her body uncontrollably shaking and the water dripping from her head as she was shivering from the cold night, Topper takes his jacket off and wraps it around y/n holding her close

"Your going to be fine" he begins to say

"Look at me, y/n" "I got you" Topper says cupping y/n's cheeks with his hands as she just nods

Yeah there was no way Topper was going to tell her that Rafe was the one to bring her back to life he was going to have some fun with this

Y/n never went to sleep she just laid in Topper's bed that they both shared since she had no where to go I mean she left her friends with her out burst of her not being appreciate in the friend group

Topper on the other hand was sound asleep next to her rolling over a few times and quiet snores were heard from his mouth, the room was dark but the sun was coming up since it was peaking through the blinds

She just wanted to get out and see her friends but her phone was destroyed and so was her heart once y/n would tell them what had happened she felt like they wouldn't be surprised of the fact that Rafe would do that

Since they all told her not too go but she didn't listen

"Morning" Topper says rubbing his eyes

But y/n didn't answer her hands were touching the bruises around her neck as each time her eyes closed the flashbacks of Rafe pushing her body down in the water and her facial expressions were struggling to breathe

Her hands were turning white from how hard she was holding on to Rafe's arm as she tried to kick tried to scream she for surely thought she was going to die that day

But here she is alive and tramatizied

Wishing she did die

"You need to eat" Topper says catching her attention

Y/n was seen just sitting at the table with him staring off into space as he was eating his food realizing that she wasn't, the last thing she wanted was any food she wanted her friends

"Um can you take me home" y/n's shaky voice asks him

Topper nods but then deciding if she ate her food then he would think about it which made y/n just simply nod before picking up her fork as she had tried to swallow pieces of egg but her throat was hurting from Rafe's hands

"Never mind on the breakfast" Topper says picking up both plates

"Topper" "Topper" Rafe shouts through his house

Rafe enters the kitchen seeing Topper put the dishes away as y/n was upstairs putting her shoes on trying not to think about the certain events that had happened last night

"Rafe what are you" Topper was caught off

"Where is she" Rafe asks

"Why so you can do it again" "You almost fucking killed her" Topper shouts

Rafe runs his hands through his hair out in frustration pulling his roots as Topper was giving him shit for almost killing y/n, she walks down the stairs slowly still in her trance seeing him once again

"Y/n" Topper says slowly

She was just standing there not moving and feeling like she wasn't breathing when she met eyes with Rafe Cameron her breath caught in her throat

Rafe watches her the way she looked at him scared for her life as there were bruises around her throat and her face was still wet from the crying that she did once Topper had pulled her out of the water

"I'll be outside" y/n says softly

"Y/n wait" Rafe starts to say but she ignores him

Topper just watches her walk out and wait outside as he walks past Rafe

"Maybe it's just best she doesn't know" he says to him

"So your just going to let her think you saved her life" Rafe says annoyed

"Whatever it takes to get closer to Sarah" Topper says before meeting y/n outside

Topper starts his little boat as y/n was just sitting up in the front watching the water as Topper was waving from his neighbors that had waved in his direction, they both just sat in silence y/n not knowing what to really say especially to her friends

They all were sat on the docks almost as if they were waiting for her to come back that night from a far all her friends were having a good time, laughing and smiling without her. Y/n was about to tell Topper to turn around but it was sadly too late they had already saw her

"Guys it's y/n" JJ calls out

"And Topper" John B questions
