Chapter 26: The Wandering Changer

(V's Pov)

"V, uhm. Gutom ka ba?"

"Graahh?"

I snapped nung nagsalita si Zach. I tilted my head in confusion and he pointed at my mouth. Hinawakan ko naman ang labi ko at dun ko naintidihan kung bat nagtanong sya ng ganun. I wiped my drool from my mouth at dumistansya pa sa kanya. I'm not hungry okay, I'm drooling because I can't help it. My mouth won't close completely dahil sa ngipin ko na parang nasuntok ng maraming tao at naging parang ngipin ng aso. It's disgusting pero wala ako magawa. Di pa kumakalma sistema ko.

Isang oras pa lang ang lumipas ng makahanap kami ng pansamantalang matutuluyan ni Zach. Napili kong tuluyan namin itong maliit at abandonadong bahay malapit sa kagubatan. It looks like a small cabin, I hesitated at first dahil malayo ito sa center ng city pero mukhang mas madali maghanap ng wild animals dito na pwede ko makain kaya I chose this place. I've already treated Zach's wounds and I'm now currently cleaning the surroundings. Sweeping the dust from the floor and taking the cobwebs out. Zach was helping me for a bit pero pinaupo ko nalang, baka kasi bumuka yung sugat nya. The cabin was small so it disn't took me a lot of time to clean it up. I also dusted the furniture na nandito na, which is the bedd, 1 chair, a table and one couch. Looks like this cabin was owned by a single dude since puro panglalaki lang nakita kong mga damit. 

"You should really change your clothes V." Zach said out of nowhere. I turned to him and raised my eyebrow. "It's just... your clothes were the one yobush few days ago. It's dirty and have a lot of blood stuck in you." he explained while looking away. 

Is he being shy right now?

Somehow that's kinda amusing. 

Tiningnan ko yung buo kong katawan at totoo nga, ngayon ko lang napansin. At ngayon ko lang din naamoy sarili ko. Fudge, I stink. Tumango nalang ako kay Zach at bumalik ang katahimikan saming pagitan. To avoid the awkwardness I quickly cleaned everything up and looked at him before signaling him that I will go out to find some supplies. 

"Oh, mag-ingat ka sa labas." 

"Graah, graahhh." I will. 

I made him rest in the bed and baracade the only one small window in the cabin. I turned to him again and signing him not to open the door and stay silent inside. Tumango naman sya kaya lumabas nako at sinira ang pinto ng maigi. I was about to walked out of there when I sense an oddly familiar scent that was hiding in the bushes near the cabin. 

Naging alerto naman agad ako at akmang aatakihin na ang kung ano mang nagpaplanong ambushin kami. Pero napatigil ako sa gagawin kasi sumulpot nalang bigla palabas ang changer na suuuper familiar sakin. 

Ito yung kanina na zombing hindi umaatake samin, but why the hell is it here? Sinundan ba kami nito? Is this some kind of pervert zombie? Stalking zombie? Ako ba target nito? O di kaya lalaki type nito? He swings that way? Is he here because of Zach? Fock!

"GRRAAAHHHHW." I growled at him na ikina tigil nya. He looked at me silly. Para tong tuta na pinagalitan, ironically I see phantom ears that lowered and puppy dog eyes looking at me like I've wronged him. 

WHAT THE HECK IS THIS ZOMBIE!

I-It's kinda cute. 

Wait no, I didn't just called him cute. I mean, this changer appears to be much cleaner that any other zmobies, you can clearly see his features and the handsome face that he used to have. He shouldn't even be called changer at this point, the only thing you can differentiate from him is his complexion. The lack of blood and life in his eyes. 

"Graahhh." I growled in frustration again and decided to ignore him. 

What the hell am I distracted right now. I need to find supplies for Zach cause surely he'll die without food and medication. I also need a change of clothes. Okay let's have first stop at clothing shops. I should take note to get some clothes for Zach too.
