V's POV

The car started and I saw Zach and the group from the distance. They were cautiously walking towards the alley where not many changers we're. I quickly drive towards the route that I already cleared for our car to travel with.

Madami akong routa sa syudad kung san cleared na ito sa mga sasakyang nakaharang at wala na ding masyadong changers.

My mind wandered when I think about what happened again today.

Me and Zach were patrolling the area kung san namin last nahanap yung mutant na hinahunting ko, I smelled the mutant's scent from afar at ang mga bango ng dugo ng tao. I hurried to the scent's location only to find him. Hindi ko akalain na makita ko sila.

I thought I wouldn't be able to see them anymore after all these years, but here they are still alive and kicking. They somehow changed but Myla and Lucas wala pa din silang pinagbago sa laging pagaaway nila. I really thought na magiging sila after akong nawala but I guess the apocalypse is preventing them from taking things further as not to complicate their lives and makes it harder for them if someone dies and turns. I don't blame them, because I too felt the same.

I sigh as I recall our relationship, our memories together. Ethan had changed. Maybe he has someone new now, or maybe not. Since the world has turned shit like this, he might be the most who don't care about those things anymore.

Even me, I already stop hoping for these kinds of dreams. Since para lang naman sa normal na tao ang mga bagay na to. And I'm not a person to say the least.

For the past 2 years wala kaming ibang ginawa kundi libutin ang buong syudad ni Zach. I tried everything I can para mapatay ang mga mutant at changers na malapit sa mga survivors na naiwan dito sa city. I did a pretty decent job if I say so myself. I safeguarded the survivors and constantly checking on them just to make sure they stay out of trouble. I scouted their areas and marked the ones that are dangerous for them. I even made sure that they won't have to encounter any mutants along the way. I worked to the bone for the past years.

After I came back to my senses that day. I have my doubts about the attacks we encountered that wiped out the base. And the only theory I had come up with is this city. The population of the mutants and the hoard of changers that day currently matched the number of creatures I killed for the past two years. And if these things were left unchecked and was still roaming around the city then a repeat of the incident that wiped us out would have happened again. That's the only reason I decided to stay. To kill every last mutant and reduce the population of changers roaming around the city.

But I still have my worries.

Two years have passed.

Yet no matter how many I kill there seems to be an endless supply of changers out there.

I really don't know how this could be possible, but I might have overlooked some variables before and after my going back of time experience. There must be something I missed.

I don't have a lot of information, and I even don't have access to some basic information as I'm cut off from human society. I'm currently like in a solitary confinement so I don't have reliable source of information. All I have is based on the memories of my so past life. I've got nothing now.
