After Varron left Cameron's house, he drove his car towards his grandparent's house to visit his younger sister, London. Hindi rin siya magtatagal dahil may aasikasuhin pa siya pag-uwi niya sa condo niya. He checked his phone to see if Cameron sent a message but he saw nothing kaya binalik niya nalang sa loob ng bulsa. He grabbed his car key and went inside the house.
The mayordoma of the house greeted him and asked if he's here to see his sister.
"Nasa garden po si Miss London. Ang Lolo niyo naman ay mamaya pa uuwi." tumango si Varron at pupuntahan na sana ang kapatid ng may tumawag sa pangalan niya. And he already knew who's voice called him, the least person he would like to see today.
His step-mother, the Emilia Wilford os back in town in her striking bloody red dress and golden heels. Sa hitsura nito, mukhang kakarating lang din nito. Who would've thought that the person who hated the thought of getting married to a widower will show in her in-laws house with a smile on her face.
Varron was on guard. Dalawa lang naman ang maaaribg dahilan kung bakit narito ang step-mom niya. First, she wants to tighten her grip on his neck, and next is about the upcoming selection.
"Hello my dear son." bati nito at nakipag beso kay Varron. Varron didn't hide the disgust in his face with what she did.
"What're you doing here? I'm sure you're not here to visit London nor Lolo." tahasang tanong nito sa ina.
"Of course I am. I missed London too. But I missed you more my dear son. I heard about that girl you're always with, I have to give you credits for snatching such a pretty girl, Varron. But she seems rather pale and frail, you need to take good care of her. " she said almost as if foreshadowing. He gritted his teeth because of that.

But he really felt frustrated by the fact that he is still powerless to protect two people at once.
"Don't do anything, Mom. I beg you. Just staybe quiet and you'll get what you want. Have a little more patience won't you." and his mom immediately understood what he meant. His mom has no interest in anything about his life anyway, she just want to make sure that he will do anything she asks and gives anything she wants.
