" Again!? " as I look at our final grades for the exam, I was placed in Top 2 once again, I sigh. " Oh look at that! I got Top 1 again. " I look at the owner of the annoying and disgusting voice, " next semester I will become Top 1, " he chuckles, " really? Wanna bet? " I cross my arms, " If you somehow get Top 1, I can do anything you ask me to " I nod liking the idea, " and if I still am top 1 then you must do anything I ask you to " I roll my eyes and put my hand out, " deal " we shook hands, " great! Now let's see who'll win " he walks away proudly making me want to kick his leg. " What I got a low grade..." I chuckle hearing Darin, " did you study? " she nods her head, " I studied... I studied a handsome man's face, like! His eyes were so nice, he had fox eyes! " I shake my head, " let's go. "

" So you have to find x to solve this part of the equation " I listen to our Math teacher as he slowly explains the solution, which is understandable, " does anyone have any questions? " I shook my head and yawned as I fix my pencil case, " Y/n~ " I turn around and see Mingyu, he gives me a grin before giving me a piece of paper, I raise my eyebrow before taking it.

I look at my notebook and there were scribbles and drawings, I threw the paper at him and closed my notebook, " Alright I'll dismiss you all early please head to your next class, " I stood up and walked directly to Darin, " can you share notes? I need to re-write mine...." I tell her and she looks at me, " you think I wrote notes? " I hit her shoulder, " why didn't you!? "

" Cause I thought you would write notes! " I groan in frustration, " why don't you borrow Mingyus? " I glare at her, " and why would I want to borrow Mingyus notes? " she shrugs her shoulders, " I'll ask for you, if you want to " I shake my head, " no I'll do it, I'll share my notes to you afterward " I turn around and see Mingyu with his group of friends, I slowly walk up to him before tapping his arm, " isn't it Ms.Top 2, how may Mr.Top 1 help you? " I roll my eyes, " can I borrow your notes, after you destroyed mine? " he raises an eyebrow, " just because I noticed your notes being destroyed first, doesn't mean it was my fault, " he pushes his glasses up before smiling, " meet me in the library then "

After lunch as Mingyu said we meet in the Library. I look around before seeing a familiar figure sitting somewhere in the corner of the room, I walk towards him and sat a chair away from him. He slides his notebook towards me, " I'll leave when you're done." Probably a few minutes passed by and I was halfway done copying his notes, as I took a glance at him, he was studying himself. The only thing keeping us separated was that one chair, " are you done?" I was cut off from my thoughts, we made eye contact, "you were staring Ms.Top 2" I look back at my notes, "I'm not done yet."

" I'm done here you go," he smiles and stands up, "thank you for your time Ms.Top 2" he walks away, I scoff. I see Darin entering as Mingyu walks away, she skips towards me " why was Mingyu smiling?" she asks, "probably cause he called me Ms.Top 2" I say annoyingly, " I'll borrow your notes later~" I nod, " that's the only time I'll be that close to that jerk" as I open my locker a paper fell, " its a drawing!" Darin says as she picked it up, "Aww it's you~" she shows me the drawing, I look at it and roll my eyes, "it's nice very nice, but isn't it creepy someone looked at me that long?" Darin nods slowly "you have a point, but I think it's cute"

- 2 months later -

" Y/N, the scores are up!!!" I hear Darin shout from outside the classroom as she was running, I follow her and as we reach the scoreboard Mingyu was there as well, "Well I won the bet Ms.Top 2" he smirked "what!?" I push him away and I was indeed again Top 2, I look at him and glare at him, "what do you want" he hums, "follow me" I follow him from behind before we reach outside the school, "why are we here?" I asked him, "it's recessed Ms.Top 2" he smiled, " just hurry up and tell me what you want" he kept on smiling, I just waited for him to say something. " Date me Ms.Top 2" I look at him and I almost choked on my spit, "what?"

" you can't deny you have feelings for me too Ms.Top 2"

" I do not, why would I like you? Why would I like my rival? Not only that you have the worst attitude! So what if you are smart? Honestly, I would only date you to help me so I can become top 1, because of you I'm stressed out because of my grades, I don't like you and I never will, " I stopped, I looked at him and he was still smiling, but you can see it was quite faint.

" You like to make me feel sad, first you thought I was creepy for drawing you and now you reject me in the most hurtful way possible? " I stayed silent for a while, " that was your drawing? " he nods his head

" Well it was nice to know your true feelings Ms.Top 2" he pats my shoulder before he hands me a piece of paper. "I'll get going, have fun studying for the next Trimester." He walks away, " annoying why would he think I'll do that,"

" You rejected Mingyu?" I turn around, " Darin?" she walks towards me, " of course I did," Darin frowns, " your smart but at times like this your not." I look at the paper he gave me and opened it, it was another drawing of me, with a small little not on the left corner.

' I like you, Ms.Top 2 '

It's the next day we're in Science class, Ms.Song was teaching us about Anatomy and Physiology. I look around and wondered where's Mingyu? I tap Darin's shoulder since she sat beside me, " have you seen Mingyu? " she shakes her head, " why? " I shake my head mouthing a nothing, " also me and Jun are gonna have a contest later who can eat more burgers, wanna come~ " I just smiled and nodded, ' where is Mingyu? '

" Ms.Eun Y/n I am asking a question, " I stood up, " what are the four types of connective tissues? "

" Proper, cartilage, bone, and blood? " she nods her head, " you may take your seat "

" YOU CAN'T DRINK WATER JUN " I hear Darin shout as I hear them fighting, " WHAT!? Why not! You drank water earlier! " I shake my head and look around, ' where's Mingyu? ' as I thought about that I see Mingyu and Minghao. I wanted to walk towards him but when he saw me he walked away leaving Minghao alone, " Hey Y/n- what are you two doing " Minghao says as he walks up to our table

" SHUT UP JUN I'LL BEAT YOU "

" YOU SHUT UP I'M NOT THE ONE TALKING "

" Can you two stop shouting!? " Minghao scolded the two, " I definitely won Jun, " 

As I walk towards the gate of the school I see Mingyu there as he was talking to Darin and Minghao, I waited for the right time when Darin and Minghao bid their goodbye to Mingyu, I walk up to him, " Mingyu! " he turns around and looks at me lifelessly, " I didn't see you during Science class..." I say, he just nods, " okay " we just stood there in front of each other, awkward...

" Did you really mean what you said...Like " he nods his head, " I just didn't have the guts to see you earlier, I may be smart but I'm a coward. " We then look at each other and he was the first to look away, " wanna grab some coffee? " I hear him suggest. 

" How about... Hot chocolate? " I say, he chuckled, " sure hot chocolate." He then held my hand and looked at me before we both walked to the nearest Cafe.
