Have We Met Before?

-The 1700s-

*Ring* the chimes on the door ring, as Y/n looked up she smiled seeing the familiar face, " Dk! " she cheerfully says and walks towards him with a big hug, " I'm here to deliver your flour, sorry, quite busy today " he says, I shake my head, " it's alright, mother wants me to help her with the bakery today, we can see each other again tomorrow. " Y/n smiles widely, she mouths the words I love you before she walks back inside the kitchen, Dk smiles waving her goodbye as he walks out of the shop, " you and the daughters baker huh? " Dk shakes his head hearing his friend, " I thought you already knew? " Dk says as he and his friend both walk side by side, " oh I know, it's just very nice to tease you both, " Dk playfully hits Mingyu, " she's beautiful, kind, she's just perfect. " 

Mingyu suddenly bows which caught Dk off guard, when Dk looks in front of him and bows as well, Prince Minghao appears before them, " Good Morning gentlemen, have you seen Y/n? Y/n the baker's daughter? " Mingyu nods, "she's in the shop, helping her mother make bread. " Minghao nods, " alright I'll be on my way, thank you. 

" Prince Minghao says as his horse walks towards the shop, " forgot that you have some competition, Prince Minghao likes her too! " Mingyu says as we continued on walking, " don't worry, a Prince needs to marry a Princess! Y/n isn't a princess but to me, she is one, " Dk says smiling at his own words.

" Hm, that's right, the Queen won't like his son marrying a baker, or someone from the village now right? " Mingyu says.

" Dk! " Dk hears a shout from behind, when he turned around it was Y/n, Dk smiles widely, " what are you doing here? It's late, " it was indeed late, the sun has set and Dk just finished delivering everything, Y/n smiles and hugs him, " I just missed you, " Dk smiles hearing her words, he holds her hand and she looks at him confused, " come with me, " Y/n smiles and they both started to run, Y/n was holding Dk's hand tightly, scared to let it go.

 " Dk slow down! " she says, and their steps get slower and slower until Dk stops, " fireflies... " Y/n saw as the little creatures flew around them, it was a beautiful scene to see. Dk sits down on the grass and Y/n does the same, " why did you take me here? " she questions, " nothing... Since you are here to see me, might as well take you here. " Dk looks at her and smiles, " the Prince came to visit me, which was very shocking! " she shares, " it isn't the first time but, it's still quite surprising, I'm not close with the Prince so, " she looks at me, " did he tell you anything? " Dk asks her, " he gave me roses, I mean all flowers are beautiful! But I prefer Orchids, he also said something which was quite shocking, " Dk tilts his head, Y/n sighs, " he confessed his love to me.

 " Dk wasn't surprised to hear that but it was quite shocking, " and what did you reply with? " She raises her shoulders, " thankfully mother came in at the right time, she was shocked to see the Prince so she offered some tea and they had a talk, " Dk nodded his head, " do you like him back? " he asks, Y/n looks at him weirdly, " did you forgot what I told you this morning? " she scoots near Dk, " I love you," she says which makes Dk blush, " what about you Dk? Do you love me, I've never really heard you say it, " she places her head on his shoulder, Dk stayed quiet, " I have the same feelings towards you too, " Y/n's lips slowly turned into a thin line, " Dk I'll be going now, it's getting late, " she stands up and Dk looks at her, " Good night, have sweet dreams. "
