A Confusing Marriage

As we arrived at the luxury hotel, I was excited to walk around and stay here for a week, it was so nice. " I'll go ahead " my good thoughts were destroyed by my husband, Minghao, he and I were married well, because of our parents, " how will I know which one is our room? " he looks at me, " are you serious? Just ask the receptionist, we're not sharing rooms anyways," he says before he scrolls through his phone, a smile then appeared on his face, " Hello? Sunhee I'm here. " He then walks away, ' seriously? He brought his girlfriend ' I roll my eyes before walking inside the hotel holding my bags, as I was talking with the receptionist I saw Minghao with his girlfriend and they held hands as they walked inside the elevator, " here's your key Ms.Xu " I looked at her before giving a smile, " thank you! " I sigh as I walked by myself towards the elevator, as I pressed the close button a hand appeared and elevator doors open again, " hello " he chuckled, I greet him back, he presses the button before the elevator started to move. 

" What's happening..." the elevator suddenly stopped, the lights were flickering, " maybe something went wrong " the elevator lights suddenly turned off, I wasn't a huge fan of the dark, so I began to get nervous, I small light appeared in the man's phone, " are you okay? " I nodded my head, " hello? We're stuck," he says as he presses one of the buttons, " don't worry, we're sending someone at the moment " 

" Alright thank you. "

He looked at me again, he rubbed my arm, " it's okay, I have a flashlight here, " I nod my head before sitting down on the floor, he did the same. " I'm Mingyu " he smiles, I smile back, " I'm Y/n " I shouted as a sound like an elevator was about to fall appeared, I held Mingyu as tight as I could, he wrapped an arm around me, " it's okay, they'll fix it soon " I nod my head, " so what brings you to the hotel? " I ask him, " I'm here for a two-week vacation, some relaxation after work, what about you? " he asks, " oh honeymoon..." he raises a brow, " honeymoon? Then where's your husband? " I chuckled, " with his girlfriend " he looked quite shocked, " girlfriend? " I nodded my head, " it's complicated, " he nods, " I guess we're not that close yet for you to tell me " 

After some time the lights were back on and the elevator door opened, I was relieved, I bid my goodbye to Mingyu and walked towards my room, but before I could swipe the card I felt someone grab my arm. " Where were you? " it was Minghao, " I have been trapped in an elevator thanks for asking " I swiped the card to the room and opened the door, Minghao followed me inside, " who was that? Last time I knew you didn't have a boyfriend. " I looked at him with annoyance, " I met him in the elevator, we were both stuck, and also, why aren't you with Sunhee? " 

" She's taking a shower, we stay on the same floor as you " I place my bags down, " then you can go ahead, " he walks away once again.

After unpacking and resting for a while, I decided to take a swim in the pool, their pool was so big, there wasn't just one but two, so I was pretty excited to swim. " Frick! " I was splashed with water as someone jumped into the pool, " Y/n? " I hear my name from the pool, " oh Mingyu " he chuckled before sweeping his hair back, " sorry, " I shake my head, " no it's okay, just a little shocked " I dip in my feet first before jumping into the pool joining him, " wanna hang out? " he suggests and I nod my head, " actually, there's a part here where there's a lazy river, wanna go there? " I nod, " maybe after a while, I wanna stay here for a bit " he nods, " Then I'll join you~ " Mingyu was a fun guy to be around with, I also realized he's very tall... While I'm very short compared to him. " Your husband still with his girlfriend? " he asks as while I sat on the staircase of the pool while he was just standing there, " yup, I don't know where they are though " he makes a weird face, " he's mean to just leave you alone "
