When Toby and I reached the front door of the manor, Slendy was already there.

"Where were you two? Dinner had been served ten minutes ago. I have everyone on schedules for a reason. Tobias, I understand that you were out crafting and whatnot, but you need to make sure you watch how long you're out unless you're on an assignment. Angel, um, Same as what I said to Tobias." Slendy finished.

When Slendy was just out of earshot, Toby and I started giggling. "Wow, Toby, you sure got yourself into something this time!" I joked with him. While he was laughing, I wondered why it had to take so long for me to meet him. I could have used a friend like him when I was in the situations that got me here, even though I can't remember much, aside from the short flashbacks. "H-hey Toby? Do you want to hang out in my room after we grab some food?"

He had his mouth guard on, but I could tell that he was smiling. "Want to steal some of Lynnie and Ben's pizza? I don't feel like eating meatloaf tonight." The brunette boy sighed about the meal we've had twice in the past two weeks before today.

"I highkey survive for the way Lynnie orders her pizza, double cheese, pepperoni, olives, and black pepper. It's like a heavenly choir in your mouth or something." I smile

"The thing I wonder is that why does she get double cheese if she's lactose intolerant? I have never seen someone complain so much about something that harms their body and go back to consuming dairy." Toby shook his face with a chuckle.

We made our way into the kitchen, each grabbed a slice of the extra-large pizza, and quickly absconded up to my room to eat.

I closed and locked the door so nobody would bother us. I started to eat my pizza and unknowingly made a mess of my face. I looked over at Toby and noticed that he was in the same situation as I. "Oh... Oh my gosh, your face..." I tried to hold back a laugh.

My smile must have been contagious because Toby smiled back. "What's wrong with my gorgeous face?" He said as he dramatically posed.

I always felt that we were in sync because we both went for a napkin simultaneously. Once more in unison, we said "You got a little something..." and pointed to the tomato sauce on one another's face.

I let out a light-hearted chuckle as we wiped each other's faces. This is what good friends are for, just being stupid and having a good time.

Once the pizza was finished, we laid on the floor in comforting silence as we stared at the ceiling. This was the kind of silence where we were able to find peace in one another.

Toby decided to cut the silence by talking about something random, and I happily complied. The moon, the woods, pizza, pillows. Anything that came to our mind.

I got distracted with an itch on my nose so I went to go scratch it. As my gaze returned to the ceiling, I brought my hand back down on something that wasn't shag carpet. Instead, it felt like cotton. I look down to see my hand on top of Toby's and everything froze for half a second.

My heart jumped to my throat and we both pulled our hands back. "S-Sorry, I... I di-" I twitched slightly "Didn't mean to do th-that..." I twitched much more violently as I profusely apologized. My face went a pellucid shade of red as I twitched again. Suddenly all my muscles locked up at once.

"Oh my gosh, Angel, are you okay?" Toby said as he held me in his arms and tried to soothe my lock-up.

I heard him call my name. He never uses my first name unless there's something seriously wrong.

Toby stayed at my side during my entire lock-up, he petted my head and would softly sing to me until my body slowly started to unclench itself.

I would be lost without Toby.
