Chapter Twelve

You know how I said things got interesting? Well, I just meant that it was unusual in a sense. Toby and I were doing nothing more than crafty and dorky stuff like we did most of the time, but the aftermath of it was what I found interesting. Think of it as a simple math problem; Two best friends in a locked room, two drawers full of crafting supplies, a cooler full of soda in my closet that Slendy didn't know about, and my toy box full to the brim with our candy collection. All of that added to the best hang-out session ever.

Toby and I had been planning for a day like this. As I pulled two bottles of soda out of the cooler and put them down on my dresser, Toby had grabbed as many crafting supplies as his arms could carry.

For about thirty minutes, we talked about Toby's drawings portraits. He made me a coloring page, and it was adorable. He drew me a teddy bear with stitched-up arms and legs.

"I'll name him Patches because he's a cute little patchwork bear!!" I said with a smile as big as my stitches would allow. I remembered the pictures that I had stolen from Toby's craft box, and I went to grab them. "Hey, I'm really sorry. I was wondering about these, and so I took them. I hope you don't mind. I'll give them back to you." I said as I handed him the folded-up portraits.

Toby smiled as he finished a caramel cream candy. "You know, those are of you. You can keep them if you want. Just as long as you let me draw you more often. Is that okay?" He said happily.

I smiled and nodded. After a while, we ended up playing Candy For Truth again. We were at the final question with one piece of candy in the glass bowl.

Toby had the final question yet again.

I hoped that things wouldn't repeat like the last time we played. I felt pretty bad for being such a brat.

"'Ria?" My caramel-eyed... I think it's safe to say I need to stop fighting this. My caramel-eyed crush asked for my attention.

I nodded and made a noise to verify that I was listening.

"I'm sure that this question will be the hardest question you've ever been asked in a game of Candy For Truth. Are you ready for this?" He said with a lop-sided smile.

"I'm listening. I can handle anything you can toss at me. Do your worst, *Tobster Waffle.*" I made sure to draw out his little nickname.

"If you're so sure..." He started and gave a cheeky grin. "When did I have my first kiss?" He asked with a determined face.

Oh... shit.

Hello. My lovely Wallflowers!!

I am soooo sorry that this chapter is super short!! I'm editing this from the story that I wrote back in 2015 and the chapter was really short. My excuse back then was because "I was writing the story in my school notebook and I lost it after getting a few of the key points down into my planner. I ended up writing all the way to the ending on another piece of paper and lost that one. I then found the most recent paper in my sketch binder."

I have no real excuse this time, but I tried to floof it up as much as I physically could, but as Walt Disney said about having Dumbo as the shortest Disney movie ever, "You can stretch a story just so far and after that, it won't hold together."

This made a lot of sense considering the fact that I pulled crucial details from this chapter to add them in the last chapter. I'm hoping to make up for that in the next chapter next week!!

Much love to my babes!!
