AUTHOR POV

Colorful balloons were floating in the air, aroma of various food items surrounding the place. Excited shouts and screams could be heard from the arcade, students playing games like there's no tomorrow.

Small tents were set up lining the corners, young and talented students showcasing their talents and selling clothes, perfumes, candles and everything one could wish for. You could hear songs aswell, but they weren't being played; they were being sung in the small karaoke set up for the Lakewood Students.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the College fest of 20XX! Please enjoy yourselves and a hats off to all the students out there who made this fest a success!"
The dean's cheerful voice echoed through the speakers.

The atmosphere was joyful and today seemed to be a happy day. Couples were walking hand in hand, considering this day as a little date. Many friend groups were giving each other dares and challenges while enjoying the food. As for the so called 'corrupted' students, aka, the Big3 members, they were trying their best to avoid each other. Mainly, the siblings were trying to avoid each other, to not fuel up any allegations and worsen the already very fucked up situation.

The secret revelations had truly wrecked their lives in the ways they couldn't even imagine.

As Sooyoung was walking, observing her surroundings she almost tripped. Not because of some hindrance but because some group of stupid girls decided to do it on purpose. One death glare by the Park and they all ran away.

It wasn't only Sooyoung. All the big3 members were being treated in the same way. The LHS and University students were no longer feared around; instead, nobody paid attention to them anymore. Every single person looked at them with hate and disgust in their eyes. But not all of them were like that. Some did look at them with remorse and sympathy; knowing whatever they all did was for a reason and although their popularity was a little too much, they didn't deserve to go through any of this.

News channel reporters, journalists and many other such media personnel kept poking their heads around in all of their private matters, asking around all of them questions that everyone needed the answers to. They went as far as to standing outside their mansions and following some of the siblings around, just to get a stupid news article.

Kang Soojin deeply sighed, thinking about everything that had completely disrupted her life in just a few days. Her eyes kept looking around faintly, not really paying attention to anything more than her own thoughts. If she did any more overthinking, she would be sure it would be unhealthy for her.
The Kang maknae heard footsteps behind her, approaching her as she turned around to find Jungkook, Lisa, Eunwoo and Yugyeom there.

"Yo Dummy, why would you roam around like this, looking all depressed?"
Asked Yugyeom.

"I know right, we didn't come to you thinking you might be with Taehyung or something."
Said Eunwoo, looking around to find Taehyung.

Without wasting a second, Lisa linked her arm with Soojin's, pulling at it slightly.

"Come. Instead of drowning yourself in your own thoughts and overthinking, come with us and enjoy this fest."
Lalisa said gleefully, the complete opposite of Soojin's face.

Soojin sadly smiled, thinking how Lalisa knew everything about her.

"No guys, thank you, really but I would really like to be alone at the moment, you know collect my thoughts."
Soojin politely declined, her tired eyes pleading.

"No -"

"It's okay Soojin. You can have some time for yourself. I understand how messed up this must be and I know how you must want to be alone right now."
Jungkook spoke for the first time, cutting Lalisa off.
