As you know,
Xiao is a adeptus and a yaksha who has been living for centuries and centuries many more.

He met you a year ago around the lantern rite festival. Not in the town, but around the town.

He spotted you and warned you about the enemies in the surrounding area, but your response was what kept you on his mind.

"I don't like the people in liyue, let alone people in general. I don't fit in so what's the point of walking around their kind if not necessary? I was strolling around so I could see the lanterns go in the air."

That response lingered in his mind.
Ever since that first meeting, you two kept crossing paths.

You got to know xiao, and xiao got to know you. He acted like he didn't care and kept his act up, but you and him would have decent conversations if he was in a good mood and alone.

You both became acquaintances, to friends, to lovers.

Something that xiao tried to avoid ended up happening. He was afraid to get attached to you because he was immortal, and would live more years than you. That means, he would watch you die slowly. He would watch you grow old. Then suddenly leave him to go to celestia.

He hated the thought, and time to him was a ticking bomb counting down to his worst fear.
He didn't want to loose you. That's why he regretted meeting you. He loved you, but that was the problem. He didn't want to get attached, it would just lead him to pain and regret.

That's when xiao got an idea to set up a date. He went out with you occasionally. Mostly on walks around liyue at night so it wouldn't be crowded, or just sitting under a tree telling stories about the archon war.
Not really romantic but you liked it. Any time with him was the best.

But xiao wanted this to be special, not just some stroll. So he spent precious time planning on what he was gonna do.

You woke up the next morning.
Xiao, like always, is up before you considering he doesn't sleep.

You got up, took a cold shower to start the morning, dried off, got dressed, and went to the kitchen.

Let's just say, that when you walked in the kitchen, you turned bright red.

There stands xiao, in a tuxedo, with flowers and sweets in his hand. Smiling ever so charmingly.

When i tell you this dude could get any woman, hell, even man, on their knees hooked on the string of love.

You felt heavenly greatful that he was all yours.
"Here Y/N, I got you your favorite cookies and flowers. A appreciation gift to show my love."
You turned even more red as your mouth turned into a large smile.

You took the cookies and flowers and placed them on the table, then ran up to xiao engulfing him in a big hug.
He chuckled and hugged back while leaving little kisses on your shoulder.

You loved lovey dovey moments like this.
You both separated and xiao held out his hand.
"Follow me. I want to show you something special"
He said.
You take a glance at his yellow orbs then grabbed his hand as he lead you to a forest.

The sun shined on the orange leaves on the trees of liyue as light breezes carried the fallen leaves.
The orange tint glowed In the sun as the atmosphere was breathtaking to any of man kind.

Xiaos warm hand was all on your mind as that blush never left your cheeks.

As you and xiao reached the destination of his desire, you both stopped walking.
There in front of you, was a table filled with almond tofu and sandwiches, followed by a cup of tea.
Xiao bowed down and kissed your hand. At that moment you could've Fried an egg with your cheeks.

Xiao led you to the small table and pulled the chair out, encouraging for you to sit down. And so you did.

Xiao sat across from you, pouring the tea for you and himself.
"It's peach tea. Zhongli said it was good and soothing."
He said, blushing himself while looking away.
He got a glimpse of the sunlight hitting your face, with your eyes shining, almost glowing. He found you mesmerizing and didn't wanna take his eyes off of you, but he sadly had too considering it would be awkward just to stare while not saying anything. He simply didn't want to ruin the beautiful moment.

You took the tea and started sipping it. You hummed in satisfaction.
"This is really good!"
You said. Xiao smiled
"I'm glad you're enjoying it."

You two would laugh and just appreciate each other's company the whole evening till the sun set.

Once you were finished, xiao picked you up bridal style and teleported on top of a mountain.
You could see all the orange leaves on the trees move in the moonlight and the lights from liyue as well.
Xiao started to sit down and tugged on your hand lightly, gesturing you to do the same. So, you did.

"You know I love you more than the stars could count, right Y/N?"
Xiao said.
You giggled "I know. And I love you more than all the planets in the universe"
You said as you rested your head on xiaos shoulder.
He hummed in response,
At this moment, he didn't care about his karmic debt, demons, or anyone else besides you.
You are his light.
His world.
If you went out, so did he.
He kissed your forehead, then proceed to lean his head on yours as you both enjoyed the scenery.

Soon after that, he heard light snores. His eyes slightly widened as he looked down to see a peaceful sleeping you.

He chuckled as he picked you up bridal style again and brought you back to your home.

He tucked you in then got in bed next to you.
"Goodnight, my dearest Y/N. Let your dreams be full of happiness."

He sat there enjoying your company till the very next morning.
