You and your girlfriend were in debt. The tenryou commission informed you late which left you both in a stressed state. "Why did they inform us a day before our turn in? 100,000 mora?.." You said in shock. Yoimiya wanted to comfort you and reassure you everything will be fine, but in her heart she knew everything wouldn't be fine. And she didn't want to set you up for false hopes.
"How about we go for a walk around town and take a breather? Maybe we can find someone that can help out with our debt along the way?" She said with a sad smile. She stood us and reached out her hand to offer you up off of the wooden floor. You took her hand and lifted yourself up.
You both walked out the door of the shack. Not knowing what was about to come at you.

You and yoimiya legs were tired. You found a bench near by and sat on it. It was now sunset. You both got whatever stuff you had in the house and sold it to see if you could make up the money that you both owed, sadly, it could only pay off half. "I can believe we're loosing the shack tomorrow. Why couldn't they just let us have more time?" "I don't know.. it's majorly messed up tho." Yoimiya added to your vent. All of a sudden, a man with a hat and coat came up to you. He had a case made out of bamboo with him. "Excuse me, apologize for listening to your business, but I heard your having some money problems. Mind if I help?" The man said. It was like a gift from the gods, they sent an angel down to help with your debt. You and yoimiya shot up in surprise. "REALLY!? YOU CAN HELP US?" Yoimiya said. The man gave a closed eye smile and nodded. Yoimiya looked at you, happy tears in her eyes, and bear hugged you. You smile and hug her back. After a couple of moments, you both leave each other's embrace and look at the man. "What do we have to do?" You asked the man. "You have to play a game." He said taking out two paper squares. One was blue one was red. "How much money do we get?" Yoimiya asked. The man does not reply, but places the case down and opens it up, to reveal nothing but mora. "Right there is 20,000 mora. It can all be yours if you can flip my red square over. If you fail, I'll have to slap you." Yoimiya looks at the guy. Debating on to get slapped, or to go on and get the money. "I'll be flipping the square over. I won't let you slap my girlfriend" You spoke up. Yoimiya wide eyed, looked at you like if you were crazy. "Y-Y/N!? YOU DONT HAVE TO-" "But I want to." Yoimiya looked at you confused. "I've played this game when I was little. Trust me, I'll be okay" You said. Yoimiya thinks for a minute then nods. You look at the man and take the blue square. The man placed down his as you remember the strategy on how to flip the square over.
'Aim for the middle...'
You thought. You raised your hand and with all your might, you slammed the blue square on the red one, flipping it over. The man looks shocked, then smiles. He claps for you. "You're money, as promised." You took the money. You and yoimiya look at each other, sad smiles. It's not enough. You have 80,000 Out off 100,000. "I know that's not enough to pay your debt. Y/N L/N"
