I groan as I woke up. I opened my eyes and sat up instantly. This wasn't my home. I was laying on a big bean bag. I looked around and saw the room I was in was old and falling apart. The furniture didn't match each other and there were a few bookshelves. I saw my bag sitting on a desk. A few of my stuff sitting on the desk. " Morning princess." I gasped and looked over to a certain monkey sitting on a couch. He shut the book he was reading and got up. He placed the book near my bag. " You. What am I doing here!" I shouted.

" Eh, you don't need to know," Macaque smirked. " Well whatever it is, I'm not staying!" I got up and walked to the door. Macaque grabbed my wrist, " Where do you think you're going?" Macaque pulled me back, grabbing the collar of my shirt. " MK and Monkey King are gonna know something is up when they can't find me! It's best you let me go." I threaten. " You think your small threats mean anything? They won't find you. And they never will." He stared at me, his smile vanishing. I gulped and took a step back.

" They don't even know I took you nor do they know to look here" He chuckled. " You're hopeless. Nothing will save you." He pushed me back and I fell on my ass, not expecting him to shove me. He laughed, " You can't even keep your balance. How do you ever expect to leave this place?!" I curled my hands into fists as I frowned angrily. I got up and punched him. He stumbled back, obviously not expecting me to get up.

He groaned and rubbed his cheek where I hit him. His tail grabbed my wrist and I was flung backward into the wall. It shook the old walls and a part of it fell onto me. " OW FUCK!" I shouted as I got hit. I moved the broken piece of wall to the side and held my head. I felt dizzy and everything was moving. " Shit" Macaque muttered and went over to me. He looked at my head and saw I was bleeding slightly. I couldn't keep my eyes open and blacked out, falling into his arms.

" This wasn't supposed to happen." Macaque picked me up, he set me on the bean bag and grabbed a cloth, putting it where I was bleeding. He got some water and dampened a new cloth. He removed the slightly bloody cloth and wiped my head with the damp cloth. He didn't know what else to do so he make sure the bleeding had stopped before just leaving me alone to recover.

He left the building and looked at the darkness that was the sky. He sighed and walked away, blending into the opaque night. He glanced behind himself. He shouldn't leave me alone. I could escape if I woke up. He scoffed and continued to walk. I would be fine. He just needed to get to a pharmacy and back without interruptions.

He walked out to the city and made himself look like a normal man. He entered a pharmacy and looked around. He picked out a few things and sneakily pocketed them. He manipulated the shadows to cover any cameras to make it look like the cameras were malfunctioning before he was in the camera's sight. It would come back on after he pocketed the items and he was still in view. " Do you need help with anything sir?" An employee asked him, her fluffy brown hair almost covering her face.

He asked the woman if they had a specific brand he knew they didn't. He wanted it to make it look like he was looking for something specific and when they didn't have it, he left without buying anything due to the fact they didn't have what he needed. The perfect plan. " I don't think so but let me go check." The woman walked off and came back 2 minutes later. " Unforuntinely we don't carry that brand but I can show you some similar brands if you'd like" The employee offered.

" No thank you. I'll check another store. Thanks for the help." Macaque walked away. " Of course, have a good day" The woman waved as Macaque left the store. Macaque made sure to pocket a bag from the register near the exit. He took out the things he stole and put them in the bag, switching make to his original monkey form. " Idiot" He laughed as he walked away

He made it back to the crumbling building and saw that I still wasn't awake. " I don't know if that's good or not." He set the bag on the table next to my backpack. He grabbed my backpack and looked through it. " Now, let's see why you have this." He took out two books. One had a snake and dragon circling each other like the yin-yang symbol and the other had a skull with a candle melting on top of it

He knew what both books were. The dragon and snake book listed and explained tons of unexplainable creatures and different demons. It was a very useful book that he believes was lost forever, but instead, I had it. And that's what he didn't understand. Why would I have it? The book with the skull was a spellbook. Another book he believed to be lost. Another book he questions why I had in my possession.

He sat down on the couch and set the dragon and snake book next to him as he opened the spellbook. Well, he tried too. The book wouldn't budge no matter how hard he pulled. He growled and just changed books. This time, the book actually opened and he turned to a random page. He opened to a page talking about a small creature called The Silencer. The Silencer was a very small almost flea size creature that if it managed to bit you, it would force you to go mute. You wouldn't be able to speak, make noise, nothing. The only way to make sure it never bites you, either to have lemons or wear something lemon-scented. Luckily, their population size is very small, and live in only one specific area. He hoped he wouldn't have to go through that area, knowing him he would forget the lemons.
