" You need to stop worrying about your food and more about the danger you're in!" Sun Wukong was lecturing me. " I'm not a kid King! And definitely not yours! Stop lecturing me like I am one!" I crossed my arms. Monkey King was taken aback since I normally just shut up and listen. " (Y/n)! I'm serious! Macaque is being danger but the only danger he is to you is him being a thief to your pantry. Be serious!" Monkey Kid pushed his finger into my chest. No, higher up pervs. " Monkey King, he hasn't done anything!" " Oh how do you know!?" " BECAUSE I'VE TALKED TO HIM!" " YOU WHAT!?"
The lecture became an argument and the only reason it ended was because we noticed MK was here. We both froze as we looked at MK. He had a sad expression as was gripping the staff tightly. He walked away and out of the cave Monkey King lived in. " Kid!" Monkey King went to go after him but turned to me beforehand, " Look what you did." He scoffed and went after MK. I stood there in shock. Did he just blame me for what just happened? What an asshole! And I trusted him!
I scoff and grabbed the bag I always took. I left the cave behind the waterfall. The Monkeys thought I was out to play but I ignored them. They seemed sad and ran off. I sat on the sand at the edge of the mountain. The sea threatening to pull me in but it just barely touched my shoes. " (Y/n)?" I heard MK's voice. " I'm leaving." I went to stand up but MK put his hand on my shoulder, sitting down.
I sighed, " What MK?" " Why were you two arguing?" He looked out into the sea. I sighed, "It's just about me being not worried about Macaque." I huffed. " But why? He is dangerous!" I sighed and told MK what was actually going on. He took it all in and understood. He said to still be careful. I nodded and said I would. " You ok though? You seemed, I don't know, really sad we were arguing" I looked at him worriedly.
" Well uh... Let's not worry about that!" MK smiled. " MK." I looked at him. Mk sighed and his smile disappeared. " Its just, I see both of you like parents to me. Like I also see Pigsy and Tang as father figures. But you guys especially. Like Tang and Pigsys are figures but you guys, feel the most like real parents." MK started to explain.
" And just, seeing you fight like that... It really reminded me of uh," He went silent but I knew what he was referring to. He thought of us as parents and was saddened when we fought because it reminded him of his real parents. I pulled MK into a hug. " I'm sure the argument meant nothing. I know Monkey King wants to protect me. I just, wasn't in a good mood already. Fights happen all the time MK. Its ok." I hugged him tightly.
MK hugged me tightly as even teared up a bit. " I've known Monkey King for too long to let one little argument get in the way of our friendship. Dont worry about it MK." I reassured him. MK smiled, " Thanks (Y/n)." I nodded and kept hugging him. Monkey King watched us from a distance. He sighed and put his hand on the back of his neck, looking away. He walked away after a bit, a bit ashamed that he made something not that big into something much bigger. " I should have just let it go," Monkey King sighed.
" Yeah, you really should have." " You." Monkey King balled his hand into a fist when he was the person hanging from a tree branch by their tail. " Missed me Sun Wukong?" Macaque smirked. " What are you doing here Macaque! You aren't welcomed here!" Monkey King growled. " What? Cant check in with my favorite buddy? Huh? That such a proble-" " What do you want with (Y/n)?!" Monkey King cut him off.
Macaque chuckled, " Awww. Youre soooo worried about her." He got down from the branch. " Would be a shame if, someone took her away from you." Macaque winked. " What the hell do you mean?!" Monkey king got defensive. " We both know you like her. It's so easy to see brother." Macaque laughed. Monkey King's eyes widened before narrowing again. " I do not!" " Yeah, yeah you do."
" Its a shame really," Macaque put his hand on his hip. " The kid thinks of you like parents. But soon more like divorced parents." He chuckled. " The hell does that mean!?" Monkey King shouted. " You'll see." Macaque winked before disappearing into the shadows right as MK and I ran over. " The hell are you yelling about?" I asked as Mk asked as well. Monkey King stared at us for a bit, " Nothing. Nothing, let's just train."
Monkey King walked back to the waterfall with MK and me tagging along in the back. I stayed outside and sat on a large rock. A monkey sat on my shoulders and looked through my hair. I just let it through I didn't want my hair being pulled today. But it's better than a roach being in it. I sighed. " Feeling down?" A familiar voice asked. The monkey screeched and ran off. I looked at the owner of the voice. " What do you want Macaque? I don't have any food." I sighed. He picked up my bag and held out the crackers I had in there. " You son of a bitch."
