(A/N: it's the new week!)
"Considering the fact that we don't know our enemies exact movements and you said to think of it as the worst possible situation, without counting the possibility of them having already found us, I think if I were the enemy this is the strategy I would use," Zhang Jue said as Lee Hyunjin finished drawing on the ground.
Since he couldn't do it, he asked Lee Hyunjin to draw on the cave ground with corrupted spirit. What he'd drawn was a very simple layout of they current situation.
"You and I are the X in the centre, suggesting that the enemy split into five groups to search for us, the smaller circles symbolise how much ground each group can cover at a minimum. As such, we are completely surrounded."
Lee Hyunjin clapped, "wow! You really came up with the worst possible situation..... but what's with this arrow?"
"Well, supposing we do travel backwards, at the very least we'd have one team to face. But this could also be a problem."
"Eh? How?"
"Disposition of power, after all, they may have left someone strong to guard the rear just in case, Isolda is a cautious and meticulous woman so naturally her puppets will be cautious as well."
Lee Hyunjin nodded, he was sitted cross legged while looking down at the small diagram, he seriously studied but couldn't come up with anything.
Zhang Jue continued to speak, "assuming the distance from here to our original position above the cliff is more than a kilometre, then using the teleportation rune would be a waste unless we can use it a few more times but I can't, because the amount of corruption I'm generating, once is all I can do."
"In that case, you want us to break through first before using it?"
Zhang Jue nodded, "that's extremely risky... you move fast but," Zhang Jue eyes drifted down towards Lee Hyunjins right leg, the one that had a jagged scar on it. "How long can you last?"
Lee Hyunjin was surprised, "I didn't think you'd notice that..... don't worry, I can still run for quite a while before it starts to swell and becomes unbearable. It'd be easier if I had Eneri spirit... Ah wait!"
The vambraces on his hands glowed dimly and an entire bunch of Eneri fell from thin air. Lee Hyunjin began absorbing the spirit from them.
"What are you doing?! It'll confli—
Zhang Jue gave up. This guy in front of him was really strange. He showed no signs of conflict.
"I'd be able to run longer now."
Zhang Jue sighed. "Still, you really have no other abilities at all?"
Lee Hyunjin was about to shake his head when he thought of his projection. "There's one but considering what happened last time things might go wrong besides, I don't think corrupted spirit will affect those guys."
