[20] - Disaster Strikes

Joel's POV

"What exactly is the plan?" I asked. "After school Chris is going to help you set up and I'm going to somehow get Erick to come with me to your house and then me and Chris will leave and the rest is up to you" He said.

"And how are you going to convince Erick to come anywhere near my house?" I asked. "At first I thought about kidnapping him, blindfolding him and throwing him in my car but I think that's too aggressive" He said. "Why don't you just ask him to hang out or something...?" Said Chris. "Where's the fun in that?" He asked. "Just don't hurt him" I said.

"Look, there's Erick right there- OH NEVERMIND" Said Chris. "Chris are you okay?" I asked. "Yes... I think I'm just hallucinating" He said. "Or you saw Erick with somebody else and you don't want me to see" I said. "NO NOT AT ALL" He said. "You're a terrible liar" Said Richard.

"Whatever it is, I'm sure I can handle it" I said turning around.

"Except that" I said.

Jax and Erick were walking together... Jax had his arm around Erick and they were laughing about something. He looks so happy, without me.

"That doesn't mean anything, they could still just be friends" Said Richard. "I doubt that" I said. "Look at the bright side. He just has his arm around him, at least they're not kissing right?" Said Chris.

"OH NO THEY'RE KISSING" Said Richard.

"I'm just messing with you, they're not" He said in between laughter. "That wasn't funny... At all" I said.

"What's so special about Erick anyways? You can have anybody you want, why him?" Asked Chris. "He's not like anybody else" I said. "He actually cares about me. He doesn't look at me like I'm this monster who ruins everything like everybody else does" I said. "Which is exactly why I can't give up on him" I said.

"You looooooooove him" Said Chris. "I really do" I said.

Erick's POV

"What are you doing after school?" I asked. "Nothing, my life is boring" He said. "Do you want to come over?" I asked. "Do you want me to come over?" He asked. "Mayyybe" I said blushing. "I thought you wanted to get rid of me" He said.

"What happened to that huh?" He asked. "Maybe I like having you around" I said. "I like being around you" He said.

[Later]

I think I like Jax. He's talking but I'm not hearing a word he's saying because I can't stop staring at his perfect plump lips.

"What do you think?" He asked. "I think..." I said. "Honestly I wasn't listening" I said. "But you were staring right at me" He said. "I guess I just zoned out" I said.

"Erick I've been talking for like 10 minutes and you're telling me you didn't hear a word I said?" He said. "Not one" I said. "You're lucky you're cute" He said.

"Why did you really ask me to come over?" He asked. "I don't know I just like when you're here" I said. "Does that mean you like me?" He asked. "Maybe" I said leaning in to kiss him.

*Ding Dong*

"You should get that" He whispered.

"Hey" He said. "What are you doing here?" I asked opening the door. "Am I interrupting something?" He asked. "Yes actually you are so again I ask, what are you doing here?' I said. "Chris and Joel are busy doing...whatever so, I thought you and I could hang out" He said.
