The funeral was today. For both of them, Gracie and Liam. They both fought for me when they didn't have to. I realized that it was all my fault. Zeke and Luke keep telling me its not but it is. Chad is angry at me, so he had revenge on the one I loved.I cried so much the few days after. I was dressed in a short black dress. Zeke and Luke both were dressed in black suits and ties. Zeke walked hand in hand with me to the burial.

"How are you doing," he asks. I try to smile but have a vague frown instead.

"I'm not good," I say. He rubs my back.

"It's not your fault, Luna," he says.

"I know," I snapped. "But you don't know how much love I felt with Liam. I hate Chad! I wish he was dead!" Zeke stood astonished, staring at me. "I'm sorry," I say.

"It's fine," Zeke says. "I know your angry. I would be too." He kisses my forehead and walks away. Luke sits on the grass, drinking a beer, and I sit next to him. Instead of telling him to stop drinking, I took a drink of it.

"I was going to marry her, Luna," he says.

"I know," I say and put my head on his shoulder. "He was my first love."

"I know," he repeats me. He gets up and grabs my hands. "Let's go mourn our loves." I frown.

Zeke

That night I slept next to Luna. I held her and protected her, just in case he returned. What happened, hurt her. I couldn't let anything else hurt her or me. I felt her move under me. She faced me.

"I'm not going to run away, Zeke," she said. "You don't have to hold me that tight."

"That's the least of my worries right now," I loosen her. She leans up and kisses me.

"I love you, Zeke," she says. "Thank you, for today." I smile.

"I love you, too," I say. "You don't need to thank me. I need to be there for you." She lays her head in my chest. I don't go to sleep until I hear her breathing steady. I watch her and realize that she is the most beautiful girl i've met. I loved her and I wouldn't let Chad ruin that.
