Chad

"Yes sir," I tell Isaiah. "I weakened her. She no longer has her mate."

"Very good, young alpha," he said and smiled. "We have weakened her by also hiring that vampire to kill that girl. Also, we have the traitor's brother to help us." I look towards Max and he looks down.

"Yes," I say. "He will be useful later, sir." Isaiah nods.

"You tell me she was not in love with her mate," he says. "But the traitor?" I nod.

"Yes," I say. "You're correct sir." Isaiah looked like he was in deep thought.

"How did she not know," he asks. I had the power to feel connections between other mates.

"He knew sir," I say. "He wanted her to be happy, so he didn't tell her. She was too oblivious and cooped up in the traitor, she didn't notice."

"His name is Zeke," Max said and we both turn to him. "Not traitor." Alpha turned back towards me and ignored Max.

"So when do you plan in going back?" Isaiah glared at me.

"A week from now sir," I replied. "I need to prepare for the killing."

"Wonderful," Isaiah says. "We will have revenge on Luna and the traitor." He spoke loudly, to annoy Max. Max got up and walked away.

Luna

I woke in Zekes arms and felt a sharp pain in my leg, head, and stomach. I jolted up and Zeke followed.

"What, i'm awake," he said. "What's going on?"

"My leg," I say. "The pain came back. It hurts." I didn't tell him about the other things. He let out a sigh of relief that Chad didn't come back.

"Can you walk," he yawns. I shrug and get up. I almost fall but he catches me before I hit the ground. He carried me, bridal style, out the door and into the hospital part of the pack house. The doctor checks me out and then leaves to get results.

"So what do you think is wrong with your stomach and head," Zeke asked me. I shrug. He rolls his eyes. "Let me rephrase my question. Why didn't you tell me anything else hurt?"

"It wasn't a big deal," I say.

"Fine," Zeke said and left it at that. The doctor came back in and sat down.

"Your head is fine," he says. "Just a minor migrane. Your leg is just experiencing after pain. And... Your stomach, well.Luna." He paused. "You're pregnant." My heart stopped.

"Wait what," Zeke exclaimed.

"I'll leave you two a minute." The doctor got up and left.

"Who's is it," Zeke asked. "We never... you know... Yet. So who's is it Luna?" I look down. "Luna?"

"Chads," I answer. The last thing I hear is him slam the door on the way out.
