Zeke

When I got home, I paced back and forth, angrily. I was waiting for Chad to come. I was going to tell him and knew it was a bad idea. I couldn't allow him to hurt her and the baby. If I had to turn myself in I would. I hear a creak and turn.

"Well isn't this a pleasant surprise," I hear him say. "Came to get yourself killed, huh?"

"If that's what it takes," I reply.

"To do what," he says and crosses towards me.

"To protect Luna." I stare at him, showing him no power over me. He chuckles.

"Good luck with that," he says. He walks over to me and stops in front of me. "It's better to know when you've been beaten, Zeke." He swings his fist at me, but I stop it. "Think you're strong, I'm the Alpha." I surprise him and kick him down.

"Now if you stop trying to kill me, I have something to say," I speak staring at him below me.

"And what is that," he says.

"Luna is going to have a baby," I say, His eyes fill with rage and he twists me down. He stands over me now.

"I told you she was mine," Chad says. "Now you'll pay the price." He honestly thought the baby was mine. I roll away from his fist and stand up.

"Stop and listen to me," I exclaim. "She is not yours, she is not an object. She chooses who she wants." I look down. "The baby is yours, Chad," He relaxes and smirks.

"Won't stop me from hurting you," he says and lurches towards me. I move and throw him on the ground.

"Its important to know when you've been beaten, Chad," I say. He groans in pain. "Yes?"

Luna

"It's very quiet without you guys here," I say to Gracie and William's grave. "Luke is drinking a lot more. I'm pregnant. This world has gone downhill." I trace my hand on Liam's granite grave. "My heart hurts and I feel empty without you. I miss you. No one told you to help me!" I yank my hand away. I burst into tears and close my eyes. I feel a hand on my shoulder. It felt like Zeke but I look up.

"I am so sorry, Luna," Max says before his fist makes contact with my face and I see darkness.

Max

I close my eyes as I see Luna's limp body.

"Very well done, Maxwell," Alpha says to me and picks her up. "And I was starting to think you were weak." I roll my eyes when he's not looking. I see a glimpse of something from the corner of my eye. Zeke stands next to the tree.

"Run," I mouth to him. He shakes his head.

"Hey, Isaiah," He calls and Alpha turns. I face palm my forehead.

Idiot, I thought.

"I think you left your sidekick back at home," he says, leaning against the tree. "Oh and did I mention he's beaten up." He gives him a cocky smirk. "So I suggest you put her down unless you want to end up like him."

"I thought you said no one would be here," he says to me.

"I didn't know," I say. He shakes his head. He sets her down and I notice her cheek is all bruised. I look away. We back away from her and allow Zeke to get her and bring her to the tree.

"You did this to get," he asks Alpha.

"No," Alpha says. "Your brother did." He glares at me and shakes his head.

"You are such an idiot," he says to me. "Don't you see that I am your only brother and you betrayed me several times. She's pregnant, Max! God!" Alpha and I were both astonished. "Its Chad's, and I already told him."

"I didn't know," I say.

"I don't care if you knew Max," Zeke said. "I care if you leave. I'll call someone if you don't." I look at Alpha.

"Fine," he says. "But we'll be back."

"No," Zeke exclaims. "You can come but don't bring Max. I really don't want to see him anymore."

"But-," I say.

"No," he interrupts. "Stay away."
