The Withered Gods

Chapter 15

The withers screech again and the army charges at us, I fire a fireball at the army and take out three skeletons, then chop two in half and block a hit. Suddenly the beam of the heart glows even brighter, and a flash engulfs us all, I open my eyes and look up, and see a wave moving across the world. The army looks up as well as looks around, then thunder strikes nearby, and I look up and see Apollo, he flies down surrounded by a giant blue field, and crashes down on the army creating an explosion of energy. He looks around and pulls out his two swords, they light on fire and he jumps into the air and hits two skeletons in the head, then he jumps onto the floor and spins around, cutting all the skeletons near him in half. Two projections jump out of the army and attempt to hit me, I jump back and fire a fireball at one, it hits it and falls to the ground, the other narrows its eyes and charges at me. I block its hit and swing at its chest, but it moves back and blocks. I trade hits with it a few more times before kicking it in the legs and making it fall, then I jump into the air and land on it with my sword going through its chest. I look up and see Apollo blocking hits of the army and cutting them in half, he jumps back and points one of his swords at the crowd, it glows blue and fires a large beam at them instantly killing all hit by it. Esther runs up next to me and shoots two skeletons in the head, then attaches something to her arrow and shoots it, it hits a skeleton in the chest and the skeleton falls to the ground, then a large explosion occurs from the skeleton, killing all the skeletons around it. Apollo floats into the air and sparks begin to flow from his chest into his arm, and then a massive beam of lightning fires from his hand, melting all the skeletons he hits into dust. The withers screech out again and charge at us, along with the other two projections, Esther fires an arrow at a projection, which it slides on the ground dodging, I charge forward and trade hits with the axe wielding one, it grabs the bottom of its axe and attempts to kick me to the ground, but I kick it back and it falls to the ground. I try to stab it but it blocks with the handle of its axe and pushes me back, I get up and so does it. it fires three fireballs at me and I fire one back, I try to fire another but when I attempt to, my entire body fills with pain again, and I fall to the ground. As the projection approaches me, it raises its axe to kill me, but is hit by an arrow, and falls to the ground next to me, I look to the side and see Esther, whos still fighting the other projection, she slides underneath it and fires an arrow into its back, the projection winces but turns around and Esther fires another arrow into its chest, killing it. She runs over to me and pulls me up, as I get up I see the wither behind us, "ESTHER" I shout, she turns around and the wither makes a sound, but then is hit by a skull, and turns around. I look to the side and see Apollo with one of his swords in the other withers middle head, he pushes his sword in a little bit and the wither screeches and fires another skull, the wither next to us creates a shield around itself and the skull hits the shield but disappears. I jump up and stab the wither in the back, and it screeches out and falls to the ground, Apollo takes his sword out of the other withers head and jumps onto the floor, he then jumps up and cuts all three of the withers' heads off. The last projection narrows its eyes and points its sword into the air, and a smoke cloud surrounds it and it flies off, Apollo walks over to the projection with the same sword as mines dead body, and picks up its sword, he examines it and looks at me, "Luxin, toss me your sword" he asks, I throw him my sword and he catches it, then he examines the two and pushes them together, and out comes my sword again, only this time it has very small waves of energy passing through it. He throws it back to me and I catch it and gaze at the waves, "How did you do that?" I ask, "Simple, I combined them" he replies calmly. I hoist the sword on my back and look at Esther, "So your powers are back?" She asks, "Indeed" Apollo replies, "Now we must go to the BLU", their forces will be useful in attacking and defeating Eilrahc".
