Chapter 19

I wake up on the floor, the BLU still ablaze, and drag myself over to Apollo's body and shake it, No response. There's no heat emanating from his body, and no chance that he's alive, we failed. I hear a growl behind me and turn around to see a zombie slowly walking towards me. I pull out my sword and try to fire a fireball, but I have no energy, and nothing happens. Suddenly, green swirls appear on the floor in front of Apollo's body, the zombie stops and stares, and a man carrying a large staff rises out of the ground, he raises his staff into the air and the zombie's eyes turn white, and it runs off. He points his staff at Apollo and slowly places the edge on him, then the staff begins to glow, and waves of energy flow into him. Eventually the waves stop, and the man retracts his staff, he winces in pain. Then his eyes glow green, and the swirls appear at his feet, and he slowly sinks into the ground, "Odmort" I whisper, his eyes glow green and he sinks into the ground again. Apollo jumps up and gasps, "what happened?" he asks, "you died" I reply, "Where's Eilrahc?" he asks, "I'll tell you later, right now, we need to get out of here" I order. Esther and Raina groan and both slowly get up. I get up and help Apollo up. "Cmon, we need to leave," I say.

one hour later

As we ascend a hill, I see someone on top of a nearby peak, the person jumps down the other way, disappearing. I turn back towards the path and continue on, and out of nowhere, the girl we saw with the Netherans jumps down, she has a skull hanging on her belt, and she looks at us with an angered look. She waves her hands around in front of her and Apollo's swords appear out of thin air, Apollo gets up and pulls his swords out. She runs up to Apollo and trades hits with him, until they come to a standpoint, Apollo jumps back and fires a large fireball. The girl jumps back and the swords disappear and she pulls a shield out of thin air and blocks the fireball, and Apollo growls. He fires three smaller fireballs and Esther runs forward and fires an arrow, the girl pulls out a bow exactly the same as Esther's and fires arrows out of thin air in rapid succession, destroying the fireballs and the arrow. The girl then fires arrows so quickly that you can barely see it, Apollo's eyes glow blue and a blue shield appears in front of us. The arrows all stick into the shield and Apollo throws the shield back at her and all the arrows fly at her. Her eyes glow light blue and she teleports behind us, and her teeth begin to turn into fangs, and she screeches out like a wither. I pull my sword out and Raina grabs her scythe, the girl narrows her eyes and pulls Raina's scythe out, then she makes a loud screech and jumps towards me, I block her hit and stab her in the chest. She screeches and the wound disappears, then she turns towards me and her eyes glow red, and her fangs grow and she screeches again. She charges forward and hits me repeatedly, I barely have enough time to block before she starts to spin around in a tornado, Raina charges forward and does her spin. They collide and knock both back. Apollo points his swords at her and fires a large beam, but she gets up and opens her mouth. The veins on her arms begin to glow light blue and a beam fires directly out of her mouth and collides with Apollo's, creating a small explosion. She falls to the floor and starts to get onto her knees, Raina points her scythe at her, Esther points her bow, Apollo charges his swords, and I charge my sword. She screeches and her veins glow blue again and she disappears..
