My First Heartbreak

going to "work"

The next Morning i heard monica voice,

"Wake up ,wakeup,its already 7:30 am you have to got to work, you can't be late for you first day of work" ,she said and pulled the Blanket off me

My eyelids are so heavy that i cant lift my eyes to see , after 5 min i saw the clock its already 7:35 am... Damn it

I quickly ran to into the bathroom , after 25 min i came back,

"Ouch"i screamed

Monica came to my room " What happened kat" She asked anxiously

"I burned my neck with straightener while straightening my hair "

"Oh my god let me see"

She grabbed my neck " Its so red " You have to do something to it or it will get worse.

"Yah i will handle with it, first you have to go to your work its already 8:15 am "

"Oh my god yah ok katie i gotta leave "

Monica left for work

It was 8:45 am when i was ready to leave

I went to the 4th floor, i was looking for her,

" I know, people like you are not deserve for this job", she said with a bitch face

I was saying something, but she cut me off and said
"Its not time for us to talk,

She walked towards one of the desk and said, "its yours for now i am pretty sure that its gonna be someone elses table in just few weeks , she said and looked at me and smiled mockingly .

" Not in few weeks, but in two months, i answered to her ...she didn't care my words and went to chairman cabin

God, she is so mean, what is exactly her problem with me.

I read few emails and approved them,

After few hours peter came, he was wearing a suit, he walked towards his cabin like a runway model. He is super hot in that black suit.

I smiled and said good morning boss,
He saw me , but ignored my greetings and i acted like he never knew me.

My first day of work is completed, its time to leave, so when i was about to leave i noticed someone is staring at me, i packed everything and left the office,
As i was walking , i noticed someone is coming towards me from the back,

" Hai katie " He said with a huge smile, i didn't able to remember who is he, but he knew me, so i can't avoid him .

He has beautiful long black hair,
His eyes are so green, he is wearing a black shirt, and jeans, his silver chain in the neck is sparkling✨.

" Hello,umm.. do you know me"? I asked with a confusion expression on my face

"We were studied in the same school".

" Oh really,, i am so sorry i can't able to remember you,( of course , i can't even remember people's name then how can i remember a man who studied with me many,many years ago,)

" what is your name by the way" I asked while squinting my eyes

" Jeremy,.... i know you but you don't know me, i am your senior , but now i am your manager,

Oh really, actually i will work here for only this 2 months,

we talked about our school and stuff, after few minutes of talk, my place arrived,,

It was nice to meet you Jeremy , see you tomorrow bye, i said while waving my hand

Bye katie he waved back ..

I went to my room i took a shower, after few minutes i came to living room,

Me and monica were eating our dinner

" How was your first day of work " ? Monica asked me while putting some chicken rice into her mouth,

"Yah it was petty good", but not once in today did peter talk to me or at least see the face.

"Back then you two are strangers,but now he is your boss so he is showing authority that's it". Monica said like it was common thing.

"Yah maybe" You are right, i said and grabbed my plate to wash.

It was next day of work, today i arrived early, Jeremy coming towards me with two Starbuck coffee's in his hand,

" Hai katie " He said and gave me coffee

Hai jeremy, i said while looking at him.
He is already looking at me, "you are looking beautiful", he said and his muscled hands coming towards me ,
He put the hair behind my ear which is on my cheeks,

" Now perfect" He said and smiled,
I smiled back

" Boss called us to meet him in his cabin, let's go" .he said and grabbed my hand

On the way to cabin he cracked a joke, i was laughing my ass out, jeremy Causally opened the door of chairmans cabin like its not a big deal, but jeremy and i still laughing,

*He gave a death stare to us*

I stopped laughing,

Jeremy went straight to peter and sat on desk.

My eyes are wide opened,

Jeremy looked at me and said, uh...don't worry he is not going to do anything to me, he is maybe your boss, but for me he is my childhood friend.

" But i said not to tell employees that we were friends, what if they tell my dad that my friend is working here, my dad is gonna drive me crazy,jeremy .....peter said with a serious tone

" Yo chill, your personal assistant said you employed katie , so i thought she is your friend ", so anyways why did you call us ".jeremy asked peter.

He is explaining about the project, i interrupted him and said, "but you said my job is only to read emails, but now you are saying me to do project,i don't know how to do, then how can i do it". I said with a worried face.

"Umm...katie i am so sorry, but employees are taking leave for holiday vacation, but clients are forcing us to complete the project early ,so i need more employees , until i find more employees, be in Jeremy's group,he will teach you how to do. I'll pay you extra ..

Putting aside what he said, I'll pay you extra ,that sentence sounds pleasant like pouring honey into my ears

I said ok Agreeing to him..

Peter asked jeremy to leave.

* jeremy left*

" So how you doing here katie" He asked while coming towards me .

"Yah pretty good ,

His hand coming towards me he grabbed the hair behind my ear and put it on my cheek.

Now perfect , that little piece of hair, Highlighted your beauty, he said with that beautiful voice.

I smiled and said thanks and left the cabin

Its 6:00 am my work is over so i packed my stuff, i waited for lift ,when the door is open ,i saw peter ( boss) is already in there. I stepped into the elevator, when the lift is about to close ,

jeremy shouted " Wait for me"

Jeremy also stepped into the lift,

I am standing between two handsome boys

Silence stuck for a while,

" Katie let's go like yesterday". Jeremy said.

*The elevator door is opened*

I said "0k"

Me and Jeremy walked for 10 min then my place is arrived,

I said " Bye" And went into my apartment
