I heard my phone ringing, i opened my eyes, 'ahh i literally got sleep half an hour ago after struggling for hours'
I sat on the bed and turned on the light,
'It's 3:30 am in the morning, who is calling right now' ,i reluctantly grabbed my phone from the table which is besides my bed.
"Hello" A familiar voice of female spoke
" Hello, who is this??" I said with tired voice "in this time" I mumbled
"I am sarah carter, wife of ben carter"She said
"Oh,mrs.carter..sorry i didn't know it was you"
" Hm ,ben got admitted in the hospital due to cardiac arrest" She said in bitter tone
"W-whatt?? , h-how, how is he now " I said getting up from my bed
" the operation was done four hours ago, but he is still in serious condition,he hasn't opened his eyes yet, the doctor said if he doesn't open his eyes until tomorrow we have to lose hope for his life ". She said sobbing
" Oh my god" I said
"Um,I called you because he told me last night that he wants to meet you
so come to America...one more thing i didn't know it's night in london , it's morning in New York " She said and hung up the call.
I gave a call to vijay, while packing my luggage
" Hello ma'am" He said in morning voice
" Hello vijay, i am sorry to disturb you, umm book tickets for new York" I said
" What, now??" He said
" No, not now, i'll call you back in few minutes " I said hanging up the call
Mr.carter wants to meet me,he wants to meet me who is nothing to him, then didn't he want to meet his own son ?, he definitely wants to meet his son harry, sarah Carter is Harry's step mom so i think they may not be in good terms, so i will make a call and confirm whether he received about this news or not.
I called him twice but he didn't answered
So i decided to call him one last time
"Hello, harry " I said
" Ahh, who is this " He said with deep gravely voice
" Huh, i am Kathleen Hixson " I said
"Ah, what's the matter, make it quick, i am in a sleepy mood" He said lagging
" Mr.Carter got heart attack ,he is in the hospital right now " I said quickly
"Ummmm.so?" He said in careless tone
" What?? What did you say? Did you just say 'so'?" I said raising my voice
" Yeah" He said with a calm tone.
" Be right there, i will be there in few minutes " I said aggressively
" Haha, do you want my location??" He said laughing
I hung up the call
What's up with this guy, he is so like anti Human type
I grabbed my keys and drove to his house in the Middle of the night
I stopped the car in front of his house.
I can't stop myself from looking at the house, it was so huge and beautiful.
I walked towards the main door and stood in front of it,
" Open the door" I said looking at the door monitor camera
" It's already opened " I heard harry voice from the door monitoring system
