chpt 9: Life 2 months later...

It's been 2 months since I had the twins, all the pets are really protective over them. Newt and I haven't been seeing eye to eye lately, were both really tired, the twins aren't sleeping much thus, neither are we. "Y/n just shut up. please. you are driving me insane!" Newt barked out waking Jasper "Well fucking done jackass! I literally just got him to sleep, after YOU didn't come home last night! What is it? You can't deal with being a father?! If that's how it is then get lost!" I whisper screamed trying not to wake Hazel. "ONE NIGHT Y/N! ONE FUCKING NIGHT I DIDN'T COME HOME! YOU'D SWEAR I'VE BEEN GONE FOR A WEEK! OR MISSED THEIR FIRST STEPS OR WORDS! GIVE OVER! STOP BEING A BRAT!" He yelled back waking Hazel. Just then Gally and Minho barged in "Don't. you. dare." They both growled "Excuse me? Are they your kids? NO." Newt replied coldly as he lift his hand to scratch his head. I flinched and backed away, all three boys looked to me worriedly while Storm and Copper stood in front of me as I sank to the ground. "Newt? Why is she like this? DID YOU FUCKING HIT HER?!" Minho yelled "No, of course not... I would never even dream about it... y/n?" Newt asked quietly while I sat on the floor staring into space with tears flowing out of my eyes "NO.. don't she's gone into shock." Gally said pulling Newt away. "Minho get Jasper I'll get Hazel" Gally said pushing Newt away. Minho and Gally took the twins and lay them in their cots, Gally then sat next to me and put my head in his lap. "Get him out of here" Gally growled to Minho who grabbed Newt's shoulder and brought him out of the hut. "Hey hey y/n look at me." Gally cooed tilting my head so he could see my tear stained cheeks "It's okay little sister its all ok listen, you are safe." He said gently. Half an hour later he got me calmed down and helped me calm the twins before allowing me to see Newt. I left the hut while Gally stayed behind and sent Storm and Minho with me. "She ok?" Newt asked tears streaming down his face "She's fine and completely calmed down, do not set her off again." Minho said stepping away from me as I was hiding behind him. "C- can I hug you?" Newt asked. I nodded my head in return and he hugged me tightly sobbing "I'm so sorry princess I really am. I would never in a million years even dream of hurting you! God I love you and I'm so sorry I scared you." He cried into my hair "I love you too Newton, I promise." I breathed back before he hugged me tighter then let go.
