Newt put me down at the table just as Fry dished up lunch "I was about to come drag you out of that hut" Gally laughed as Newt sat beside me and kissed my cheek "They're adorable together oh my god" Zart smiled from across the table "thank you Zart" Newt smiled back "no seriously if you two don't get married I will die" Zart laughed back "don't worry Zart I will marry her some day" Newt smiled as I looked down to hide the fact I was blushing "aww y/n's blushing!" Teresa smiled "n- no I'm not" I said smiling and burying my face into Newt's side "awww princess" he chuckled putting his arm over me and pulling me closer to him. we ate lunch and I was quickly steered away from the kitchen because everyone now knew I wasn't allowed to work for a while. I went to the hut got the pets and went for a walk, a long walk apparently because I was gone until dinner, I realised I zoned out when I was walking and ended up in the forest, I sighed, shook my head and laughed at myself before making my way back to the others with all the pets still following me closely. I went back and all the pets sat by me at dinner "hello darling, where have you been?" Newt smiled as I sat on his lap "walking" I smiled back "for that long?!" he asked "yeah I didn't even realise I had been walking for so long I dunno I guess I just-" "zoned out? yeah you do that quite a lot when you're calm" Newt smiled cutting me off "do I ?" I smiled back as Newt kissed my cheek "yep, I notice it when you draw or sing, which I haven't actually heard you sing in a long time" Newt smiled putting some food in his mouth "hey y/n, here's some food for you too" Fry smiled handing me a plate of food "thanks Fry" I smiled. Newt took a forkful of the food and put it in my mouth, I had to stop myself from laughing "aww look at them" Gally smiled sitting across from us "y/n sit on the seat you don't need on top of him" he said again "No she's quite happy looking where she is Gall, leave her alone" Teresa said winking at me, I winked back taking the fork Newt used to feed me from him, and started eating dinner, I ate it all and Newt and Teresa made sure to tell me they were proud of me for doing so. "well done y/n! I'm so proud of you!" Teresa smiled "thanks T" I smiled back "well done darling, you're doing amazing and I'm so so proud of you" Newt said proudly as he kissed the top of my head "HEY Y'ALL THERES A BONFIRE TONIGHT, DON'T FORGET!" Alby yelled to us "ok Alby!" we all called back. Newt and I went back to our hut and cuddled for a bit until I got up to draw until the bonfire.
