Batman's POV
I am driving back to the batcave. The news was on during the ride.
Vicki: This is Vicki Vale, we have footage of what happened at ACE Chemicals. Batman and Jack had a fight, which ended with Jack falling into a canister of chemicals. The GCPD are presuming him dead. The question is, did Batman try to kill Jack? Or was it an accident? Is Batman a hero? Once again, it remains to be seen.
I made it to the batcave, I got out of the batmobile,I took off my suit and put it in the chamber. I then went up back into the manor and sat on the couch. I put my elbows on my knees and my hands on my face.
Alfred: It wasn't your fault, master L/N.
I look up at him.
Y/N: He fell in there, because I blocked his bullet.
Alfred: You didn't intend for this to happen.
He sits down next to me.
Y/N: I hope Gordon doesn't think of me as a killer.
Alfred: I don't believe he will, sir. He didn't want the police firing at you.
Y/N: I should probably talk to him another night.
Alfred: If you want to, go ahead. I say you should get some rest, and remember, you didn't kill Jack. He was the one who fell.
Y/N: Yeah, you're right. Thank you Alfred.
Alfred smiles.
