Batman's POV
I make it into Joker's hideout. I activate detective mode and look around. I couldn't see Joker.
Batman: I don't see him...
Alfred: Are you sure?
Batman: I'm sure.
Lucius: He's somewhere in there, keep looking.
I see an elevator. I get inside, I look up with my detective mode on.
Batman: He's on the very top floor.
I press the button to the very top floor in the elevator. I wait for the elevator to get up. When it gets to the top floor, I walk out. I see Joker looking out the window. He then turns around and looks at me.
Joker: Batman...
He smiles.
Joker: It was about time we meet again.
Batman: All of your poisonous gas is gone. You're done, Joker!
Joker laughs.
Joker: Me? Done? I'm just getting started! You may have stopped my plans. But you still got me to worry about.
Batman: I'm taking you in.
Joker: I bet you will!
Joker gets into a weird fighting stance.
Joker: Let's rumble! Let's have a good old fight!
Joker got closer to me, still in his stance.
Joker: Let's go Ba-
I punch him in the face, knocking him down.
Joker: Oh.... now that's what I'm talking about!
Joker gets up. But I punch him again.
Joker: Ow!
I then grab him and throw him at the wall. Joker slowly gets up, he tries punching me, but I move sideways, then I kick him in the face, knocking him to the floor. I then grab him by his collar and raise him in the air.
Batman: You're done!
Joker: I'm not done playing yet!
Joker has something on his hand. He puts his hand on my shoulder. I start getting electrocuted.
Batman: Ahhhhhhhhhh!
The shock makes me let go of Joker. I fall to my knees, I'm smoking up. I keep on coughing.
Joker: Whoa! That was shocking!
Joker starts laughing. He then kicks me in the face, knocking me down. He then grabs a crowbar. I slowly get up. Joker then hits me in the stomach with the crowbar.
Batman: Ah!
Joker then uppercuts me with the crowbar, knocking me back down on the ground. I spit out blood. Joker starts laughing. Joker gets on top of me and tries to choke me with the crowbar.
Joker: This has been fun, Batsy.
As Joker continues to try to choke me with the crowbar. I see the window behind me.
Joker: I've never asked. Who are you? Who are you really?!
Joker is still choking me with his crowbar.
Batman: I..... I am vengeance..... I.... am the night....
I then grab the crowbar and I slowly push it a little bit away from my neck.
Batman: I... am..... BATMAN!
I elbow Joker in the face, I then use my legs to boost him behind me, he goes through the window and starts falling. I hear him laughing as he goes down. I quickly get out my grapple gun and grapple his leg, preventing him from hitting the road. I pull the wire so Joker gets back up to my level. I then hang him upside down.
Joker: You....You just couldn't let me go...
Batman: I don't kill... unlike you.
Joker starts laughing.
Joker: Oh... I see.
Joker laughs again.
Joker: You won't kill me... because that's not your style... and I won't kill you... because you are too much fun...
Joker laughs one more time.
Joker: No matter what universe, what timeline, or who takes our place in any universe and timeline... you and I.... are destined to do this forever.
Batman: You'll rot in a padded cell forever.
Gordon and the GCPD gets up here.
Gordon: Good work, Batman.
Gordon looks at the cops.
Gordon: Cut him down... and take him to Arkham Asylum.
The cops cut Joker down, and they take him to a police car. Gordon looks at me.
Gordon: I wanna thank you... for taking down the Joker.
Batman: You don't have to thank me. I'll always protect this city.
Gordon smiles.
Gordon: Glad to hear it.
Gordon holds his hand out. I then shake his hand.
