PERCY POV

Man, fighting Chaos was hard! Well Percy expected it, as soon as they lunged at him he made one swipe with his finger and there was a scratch on his shirt Percy fell back on the ground with a huge thud he quickly got up and held up his sword when Annabeth fell with a huge thud beside him she too got up and held ready her darken-bone sword she turned to Percy and said "Percy use the waves as a surprise attack he can't cut water and he is made up of lava so it might be effective" Percy nodded and focused and a wave of water smashed on the lord of the universe for the first time he gasped in pain and said "Child of Athena you and your petty schemes shall not work on me!"

Well Percy did not need Chaos targeting Annabeth so he lunged and Chaos did not swipe again instead a huge blazing sword appeared in his hand and he parried Percy's he said "even though the river styx does no damage to me Perseus i swear i shall kill you all! With no magics i will kill you demigods with this sword i swear" and for some reason Percy suddenly felt good about his chances of defeating Chaos, sure Percy was no good when it came to fighting a full magic Chaos but in swordplay Percy actually felt like he could match chaos's speed they parried and slashed at each other faster and faster leaving no chances for the others to help the most the crew could do was shout encouragement and stay in a defensive line around Percy , Percy went on autopilot like he did when he was fighting monsters trusting his instincts on when Chaos would strike next they were now moving so fast Percy barely had time to concentrate on Chaos's face the only thing he could still see was chaos's sword hand moving towards him and him parrying it the crew had stopped shouting encouragements because they could not see wether Percy was winning or losing, Percy would have never even imagined that he would be fighting the lord of the universe one day when he entered camp half-blood at 12 of age now he was slashing and dodging at Chaos's blade and Percy suddenly felt a feel of happiness go down his spine he swept down and kicked at Chaos's leg so fast the others did not understand what had happened until Chaos was on the ground and Percy was pointing his sword at Chaos's neck, the others roared with happiness and Percy felt so good, he was able to defeat the lord of the universe at sword fighting. He felt thrilled. But Percy let his guard down Chaos turned on the spot and Percy was down on his knees too Chaos stood up and grabbed Percy's shirt by the collar and Chaos started floating into the sky while grabbing Percy by the collar soon they were about 6 feet in the air The crew shouted and again sprang into actions but they could not do anything Frank tried to lunge at Chaos after he head turned into a dragon but he instantly hit a invisible wall in the sky Annabeth shouted something from below about there being a force field around him and Chaos, Percy realised with horror that he was alone his friends could not help him and suddenly something clicked in his head, his father saying it was not his time yet,he would die on water,he would have the heaviest role of all, and he would surely die within the next week. He had tried telling Annabeth when his death himself came for him in the form of Chaos Percy suddenly understood what he had to do. He would have to die stopping Chaos so the crew could escape he hit Chaos in the face with the hilt of his sword fast. Chaos dropped him and Percy fell towards the ship but he fell straight on top of Frank he quickly told Frank his plan.Frank's dragon eyes started to water but he nodded after a whole lot of Percy convincing him it was alright he dropped Percy on deck and Percy once again stared straight at the face of Chaos in the sky sword in hand, an angry look on his face.But Percy felt as confident as ever.
