With Jarvan dead, Verkin looked at Vayne with a straight face as he walked to her. Vayne kept her distance and took every chance she got to shoot an arrow.

He used that spear to block all of it as his pace quickened when it was starting to annoy him. He wasn't the only one getting annoyed when Vayne felt like her pride was being chipped each time her hits didn't even scratch him. Still she had tricks up her sleeve...but she worries even he has more.

The moment Verkin came to her satisfied range, she pulled up the large crossbow behind her making him raise an eyebrow. She immediately shot a big arrow, a little confident it can knock the air out of his lungs atleast.

Verkin quickly intercepted the arrow from hitting his skin with the spear's handle but the impact wasn't something he can simply take on especially when his feet weren't steady. It forced him to back off and he had to take 5 steps back making him groan.

He looked at Vayne only to see her making a run to her tower so he had to give chase. He pressed his foot to the ground and gave chase. Verkin also aimed as he calculated her speed along with the right trajectory and when he was certain he threw the spear like a javelin.

Just as Vayne placed her left foot down, the spear penetrated her calf and through the ground.

"Nggghh!!" Vayne grunted as she tried to take it off but seeing Verkin run to her. She decided to go down fighting as she loaded the crossbow on her hand and shoot.

The way he weaved and got to her before she could reload made Vayne try to curse but was interrupted when Verkin held her by the throat and slammed her down.

"You still have so much to learn," Verkin said in a serious tone before taking off the spear and shoving it to her heart.

You Have Slain an Enemy

Verkin threw her body away and went to clear the enemy minion that he passed when he chased Vayne, seems like 2 died already. He made a quick work with the remaining minion before heading to his turret to recall.

"Summoner, back to base," Verkin commanded and the summoner took no delay.

He got to the respawn point and walked to the shop. He bought a light armor along with  something to increase his damage. As he bought the items, he felt more of the restriction lessen but inside it still felt like his potential was sealed.

Vayne's death made Verkin think he had time to visit the other lanes. He figured to visit mid so he started to walk in that direction. The way his movements were restricted made him groan a disgusted one when it felt like he was tied to 50 islands. The moment he got there, he realized he was late when Akali was laying on the ground with heavy breaths. There was a dragon that was stomping on their minions and throwing firebreaths as well.

An Ally Has Been Slain

Akali had lost the duel and she felt like her consciousness was going any moment now. Still she saw Sensho in her periphery making her try to look but upon closer inspection...something didn't feel right. The air was a little tense with the way he was hiding his eyes with long silky hairs.

Verkin simply walked to her and kneeled to her side and gave a small bow as he placed his hand to force her eyes shut.

"We'll take it from here," Verkin said, a little more lighter than the usual demanding one.

The way his voice differed from all the voices she heard from Sensho made her wonder. Akali recalled his words before the fight and that quelched her curiosity a little.
