It had been weeks since Jaren broke up with his ex and you were more than happy to be able to spend time with him again. A lot of catching up here and there, you didn't mind, you missed those interactions with him. One day, he chose to invite you to play a game of Uno with him and two of his friends, Grizzy and Puffer, saying they needed a fourth (and if you didn't want to, that's fine, they might encounter AI Dusty or "snatch McNasty or Soup to join").

Seeing as you didn't have anything interesting planned for the day, you accepted the invite. You've never been on any of their recording sessions... but you remember chatting with Smii7y while he was streaming, he didn't even let you know. Long story short, you only realized he was streaming when he forgot to mute and responded with words like: "Who's the person talking? Um, me? Who else would be here, chat?". Of course you were embarrassed, you quickly checked his Twitch channel to see chat's reaction and their words about you. Saying you were surprised would've been an understatement. The chat adored you, saying how both you and Smii7y were akin to family.

"Hello, my friend? You accepted the call and invite, yes?"

Blinking, you adjusted your headphones, moving your mouse to actually accept the game invite. "Yes, yes! Sorryy." Once in the lobby, you see the profiles of both Grizzy and Puffer, the pictures were of their own face. With the former's looking confused while the latter's was quite deep fried.  "Hi, hello!"

"Grape!" Smii7y clapped and you rolled your eyes at his Danny Devito avatar. "This is (Y/n), and we'll be playing Uno Flip todayyy!" Instantly, the screen switched to a loading screen, meaning the Canadian had started the game already without a second thought.

Fake cheering comes from the other two making you laugh before joining along. "Wait, what rules are on??" Grizzy asked, stopping the cheers.

"Uno Flip!"

Giggling to yourself, observing as Smii7y had picked up more than five cards so far, he stayed silent, probably glaring at his monitor. Eventually, stopping at nineteen, he no longer had to pick up cards once he finally got an orange colour. "Thank god!" His turn gets skipped because of the wild draw colour card and it moves onto Puffer.

Immediately, he puts down a reverse card and chuckles, Smii7y babbles and had a quick panic before placing down a flip. It's in the name of the card, the cards flip over, shifting to the light and somewhat more normal side. "Wait, wait, wait, what colour does (Y/n) have?" Grizzy speaks up, nervous.

"Uh, magnetic- magneto?" Smii7y suggested, realization quickly dawning on him. "Oh, shit, wait, no- hold on." The five second countdown appears on your avatar, the seconds ticking down and you begrudgingly draw a card, ecstatic to get a top deck and a good card.

A chorus of "No way" erupts in the call, and faintly, your closest friend is cheering for you to win. Hurriedly pressing ”Play” and then calling out Uno, the orange mega skip does it's thing and once it's back to you, the purple card with the same mechanic gets placed down, and you won! "No way!" Puffer was at disbelief and you're silently applauding yourself.

After an hour and a half Uno session that consisted of at least three rounds, you said your farewell towards the trio before disconnecting. Taking the headphones off, you clasped your hands together and stretched. Releasing a breath, attention landing again on the screen, seeing someone had messaged you. It was the milkbag himself.

Then another message, which was sent just now, lets play power wash soon?

After reading it, you scoffed before clicking on the chat and replying with a ”no thanks”. Jaren mocked hurt, replying with a frown emoticon and not even two seconds later, he started a call. Sure, you were tired, but it's your favorite person so you begrudgingly accepted. Putting your headphones back on, you greeted him, "Hi."

"Hey!" Replied Jaren, you smiled before leaning back on your chair. "...Remember how we met?" he inquired after a few seconds of silence.

Closing your eyes, you thought back about the moment. "Mhm, you were clumsy."

"Okay, you have got to let go of that one." He jokingly grumbled, continuing with his words. "It was my first time going to a live event, alright? I was nervous."

Humming, you see him send a cat meme in the chat making you laugh. "I'm glad we met, nonetheless." You almost gag at the serious words you chose.

"Me too... now, go to sleep, you goblin."
