Chapter 3 | the hidden truth

Harry waited, then told him : "what do you want from me?!" . The man answered : "i want you to believe me Harry, please... I know you have been through a lot of stuff.. Such as a war, i know you won't trust a stranger telling you after 17 years that he is your uncle but please you must trust for once" .

Harry starred at him for a couple of minutes then untied him and apologized, hoping this man won't lie to him and use his lack of family to deceive him. The man responded : "thank you, Harry..".

Harry replied : "anytime" quietly but still raising his wand to the man's face as he continued : "now what?" the man answered: "uh you have to prepare your stuff and follow me" as he saw a plate on the table with toast on it.

Then he asked Harry : "you were eating, weren't you?" Harry answered : "yes" shortly, the man said : "oh.. Well i'm sorry i interrupted you while eating your breakfast" Harry replied : "don't worry it's ok". He was surprised that the man was very polite . Packing up his stuff *a moment of silence* .

The man told harry : "um can i ask you something?" harry told him : "sure" , "i passed from here lots of times but i found no one" said the man. Harry replied : "Ah yes, no one came here since the last summer" the man looked confused as he asked : "so why did you come here recently?.... I mean you are all alone".

Harry stopped packing his stuff and stood his back to his uncle, doesn't know what to say then he answered : "i would like to stay alone sometimes.." the man nodded slowly  not convinced *another moment of silence* Harry was ready to leave with his uncle.

They got out of the house together locking the door behind them. The man took Harry to his car putting Harry's luggage in the trunk then, they sat themselves in the car and the man drove to his place.

While driving on his way he told harry: "you are so quiet Harry you haven't made such a sound since we drove" this is the first comment Hagrid had said to Harry years ago when he was reading the newspaper, then Harry replied : " my friends say that about me.. Is this a good thing?".

The man told him : "yes it is good but boring sometimes haha" Harry didn't say anything or reacted , the man looked at him then continued : "i'm sorry i didn't mean that" he felt harry was mad at him but Harry said : " no no.. I'm not mad it's okay".

After about 35 minutes they had arrived to a large luxurious hotel in London, Harry liked it very much. It must be very expensive thought Harry. Then his uncle muttered : "let's go" they got out of the car and Harry took his luggage and entered the hotel.

The hotel had a shiny ceiling with very large and sparkling chandeliers made of bright huge crystals with different colors , there was some artificial plants across the entrance. Then his uncle interrupted him saying : "Harry do you have your ID?" Harry bellowed : "wh-what's the ID?" looking extremely confused.

His uncle took a deep breath and looked at him with disappointment and said: "hm.. This is a card for your identity Harry" then Harry asked him : "Do you question my identity ?! You don't believe me?!! Then why have you been searching for me for so long!!".

"Harry, no no it's not like that in the muggle world you have to use a card for your identity some places would ask for it" his uncle said quietly.  Harry took a moment of silence then told him : " but what would i do now? I don't have one" innocently.

"Don't worry it's ok we will see about that later, now come to my room" his uncle said with a smile. They went to the room his uncle unlocked it with a card Harry liked that very much his eyes widened and told his uncle breathlessly : "can i try!!" his uncle asked him: "try what, dear?" .

Harry looked at the card in his uncle's hand with excitement like children do when they see something new :"oh yes you want to try the card" his uncle said with a big smile on his face and gave him the card "thank you!" Harry muttered taking the card from him, he locked the door and then tried to unlock with the card and it worked. He glared with amusement .
