It was the 31th of July. We all know what happened that day years later . The savior of the wizarding world was born. This day was remarkable in the wizarding world, thanks to the prophecy. Young Harry didn't usually get any gifts for his birthday before Hogwarts.
He always wished to have a birthday gift. When he entered Hogwarts and met a lot of people that love him that thing was surely changed. He had the Nimbus 2000 , firebolt, jumpers knitted by Molly , Hedwig ...etc. And honestly he deserves to have presents.
Those stuff he never asked for but certainly he was very happy to have . At his 18 birthday stuff went differently. Ginny kept thinking what to get for him. She also approached Ron and Hermione and kept asking them about stuff he loves , one day they gathered when he was asleep.
"What Harry liked the most is broomsticks i reckon" said Ron "Yes but he has amazing broomsticks already " said Ginny "From my perspective i think what Harry likes the most is mysterious books" said Hermione "What about something that he really likes but he lost?" said Ginny "What do you mean?"asked Ron "I think i know what to get him for his birthday" said Ginny
Next day , it was Harry's birthday. Ginny told Ron and Hermione that they must go to Diagon alley. "Where are you going?" Asked Harry as he saw Ron , Ginny and Hermione getting ready to leave "It's urgent , we will tell you when we come back" said Hermione holding Ron and Ginny's hands as she disapparated to Diagon Alley leaving Harry puzzled.
"That was clever" said Ron looking at Hermione. "Now follow me" said Ginny as she walked away and they followed her. She seemed to have a plan. They kept walking until Ginny stopped in front of a pet shop. "That's it !" Said Ginny "Are you going to gift him dog's cookies or what" said Ron as Hermione laughed and pushed him "Shut up Ronald" muttered Ginny trying not to laugh.
"Good morning sir" said Ginny "Good morning miss" said the saler "Do you have white owls?" Asked Ginny "Yes we do .. follow me miss" said the seller leading Ginny to a strain of white owls. Ginny looked at them and pointed at one that looked exactly like... Hedwig.

"Oh Ginny what a sweet gift !" Said Hermione amazed by the idea "Yeah ! I never thought about that , he truly loved that bird" said Ron "I wish he likes it" said Ginny as the seller handed her the cage of the owl. "How much is it?" Asked Ginny. The seller told her the price and she gave him the money.
"Wingardium Leviosa!" said Hermione pointing her wand at the cage as it moved upwards controlled by Hermione's wand "Now we must get back home" said Ginny as they disapparated to the Burrow.
They apparated at the Burrow's garden "wait ! We need to make a surprise for him , we must cover up that cage" said Hermione "How ?" Asked Ron "Accio invisibility cloak !" Muttered Hermione holding her wand , few minutes later the cloak zoomed to her. She picked the cloak and covered up the cage with it and it went totally invisible.
Luckily Harry wasn't sitting in his room to see his invisibility cloak flying out of the window towards them. They knocked the door and Harry opened up the door for them "welcome home" said Harry sweetly "thanks Harry" they responded as they got in . The plan was going very well. Hermione placed the invisible cage with her wand.
"Harry.." said Ginny looking at him with her gaze , beaming at him "Yeah" said Harry worryingly "Where have you been all of you !" Said Molly interrupting them "Mom !!" Said Ginny "Wha.. oh ! I forgot !" Said Molly who has just remembered that they went to buy a present for Harry.
"I don't understand.. what's happening?" Asked Harry with deep confusion. Ginny waved her wand casually : the cage appeared and the cute white owl as well. "Ta-daaa!" said Ginny "Hedwig !" Said Harry surprisingly with his eyes widened as he rushed to the owl. "We must throw a big party !" Said George
"I don't know how to thank you guys" said Harry playing with the owl with his fingers through the cage. "Happy birthday Harry ! it was all Ginny's idea"said Hermione he returned to them and hugged Ginny tightly lifting her up "Happy birthday mate" said Ron happily with a wide smile. "Happy birthday Harry" said George
He released Ginny and hugged them all "Happy birthday son" said Molly hugging him tightly. Her words made Harry very emotional, then he released her and kissed her hands. Then he looked back at the owl and he noticed something "hold on ... is that my invisibility cloak ?" Asked Harry.
Hermione laughed "that one was Hermione's idea" said Ginny laughing too "it's brilliant , but next time be careful i may be sitting in the bedroom" said Harry smiling. The door was knocked , Hermione opened up the door. "SURPRISE !" Sounded like one voice it was Percy , bill , Charlie , Fleur , Angelina , Kinglsey , Arthur , Neville , Luna and Hagrid.
"Oh ! It's the best surprise!" Said Harry happily , they all hugged him and gave him their presents. It was an amazing celebration, Molly baked a heart shaped birthday cake it looked familiar but it was true. They loved him very much. The cake had the letter "H" on it with the white cream . What really amazed Harry was the owl.
It was like she was awaken from her death. Hedwig was Harry's only friend during the summer at the Dursley's when he was locked up and starved in his room. He loved her very much and he regretted her death. For the first time he felt like he got back something he had lost. He remembered the first time when Hagrid brought Hedwig for him and he named her 7 years ago.
At the end , it was an amazing day. He managed to celebrate his birthday without worrying about anything , about Voldemort or his death eaters. The day passed peacefully and gracefully.
