The teacher's voice carried on and on as they explained what they wrote on the board. Kian felt it difficult to actually pay attention to her as he stared out the window with his cheek resting on the palm of his hand. He sat in the back of the class, because it was the only available spot when he arrived.
"Mr. Donahue," the teacher called out as she peered over the rim of the glasses resting on her nose.
Kian's eyes snapped over to her as he attempted to suppress a yawn.
"Am I boring you?"
"No, ma'am," he answered, sitting straighter in his chair. He felt his cheeks burn and hoped no one noticed how flustered he was, not because the teacher called him out, but because of the memory swarming his head. The heat of the water. Theo's soft lips and warm breath. Other embarrassing sensations.
Similarly to their first moment in that bathroom at the Alpha and Luna's party, he remembered everything vividly. And it left him sexually frustrated.
The teacher stared at him a couple more moments. "Then why don't you come up here and solve this mathematical equation."
Sighing, he stood up, his chair squeaking against the linoleum floor. He held his breath, hoping no one noticed his boner. That would have been awkward.
All eyes were on him as he made his way over to the white board. The woman handed him the dry-erase marker and waited expectantly for him to solve the problem.
He looked at the equation in front of him. He smiled internally when he recognized this exact problem from the homework his teacher assigned the previous class. After running home from Theo's house, he buried himself in homework to occupy his mind.
Relief flooded through him when he remembered exactly how to solve it. He wrote the steps on how to solve it and then circled his answer at the end.
"I see you've done your homework," the teacher said as she scanned his writing. "Just please pay attention, or at least make it seem like you are."
Kian nodded his head and went back to his desk. As the teacher continued her lecture, he tried to listen despite his wandering mind.
After a couple minutes, he felt something poke his arm. He turned his head to the right and saw the annoying girl from his P.E class. She held a piece of paper in his direction and shoved it into his hand.
Raising an eyebrow he unfolded the paper and read what she wrote.
Same problem as yesterday?
Scowling, the dark-haired boy balled up the paper and shoved it into his pocket. He heard her chuckle, which only annoyed him further.
"What's wrong, you big baby?" she whispered, leaning closer towards him.
Kian continued to ignore her, trying his best to pay attention to his teacher. But his pestering classmate kept poking his arm and repeatedly whispering his name.
"What do you want?" Kian finally hissed, but his voice was louder than it should have been. All heads, including the teacher, turned in their direction.
"Kian and Aya, is there something you'd like to share with the class?" the teacher asked with her arms crossed.
Kian shot Aya a glare before shaking his head no. Aya flipped her hair behind her shoulder as she shrugged and leaned back into her seat.

The bell rang, signaling the end of class. Kian grabbed his bag and slung it over his shoulder. As he turned to leave, a hand gripped his arm.
