Double Knot***
It was a Friday evening, and the Hwangs and the Lees were meeting. The Hwangs were already sitting at the restaurant table, and were talking, waiting for the Lees. Hyunjin kept glancing through the glass window, hoping to see Minho arrive soon. His beautiful face relaxed into a smile as soon as he spotted the Lees who entered the restaurant, giving their coats to the waitress before walking to the table. The Hwangs got up, and greeted the other family. Hyunjin and Minho contained themselves, and greeted each other politely before taking place around the table. Discreetly, Hyunjin grabbed Minho's hand under the table and squeezed, earning himself a smile.
The dinner started, the conversation going on about business, the two boys politely participating in the conversation and answering the questions they were asked. Although from time to time, Hyunjin would lean in and whisper something into Minho's ear, making the other giggle, earning themselves glare from their parents. Other times, Minho would lay his hand on Hyunjin's thigh, and smile at him. The two of them remained as polite as they could, and very respectful to their parents, sometimes taking part in the conversation.
Once the dinner was over, they walked for a little while before they bid goodnight, the Hwangs having their car and chauffeur waiting. Hyunjin gave Minho a light kiss on his cheek, and bowed before Minho's parents before getting into the car. The night being quite warm, the Lees decided to walk back to their home. Mr and Mrs Lee were holding hands, and Minho was walking a little behind them, looking around, smiling as he remembered something Hyunjin had told him, and a gesture he had made.
As he looked up, he spotted someone he recognised, and made him roll his eyes, hoping he hadn't seen him. But it was too late.
"Hey Minho!" The boy exclaimed as he walked towards Minho who groaned.
"Hi Jisung," Minho mumbled.
"You didn't come last time after your dance class," Jisung pouted. "You said you would..."
"I know. Turns out Hyunjin came to see me, and I forgot." Minho said. Jisung didn't believe a word of that lie, but chose to ignore it.
"So, what does it take to hang out with you?" Jisung smirked. "Let's see, tomorrow is Saturday. Let's have coffee."
"No."
"I don't take no for an answer. I'll come pick you up. See you tomorrow, Minho."
And before Minho could say anything, Jisung was gone. The boy sighed and rubbed his forehead with a groan.
"Who was that, honey?" Mrs Lee asked her son. Minho turned to his mother and smiled.
"Jisung, just a boy from university."
"He seems nice. Is he your friend?"
"Uhm... not really..."
Mrs Lee nodded. "Come now, let's go. You look tired."
Minho simply nodded and followed his parents. They walked back to their penthouse, Minho holding his mum's arm, half listening to the conversation, and half thinking about how to get out of his 'meeting' with Jisung. Once he reached his bed, he hadn't found any solution, and he fell asleep with a headache, clearly not looking forward to being the next day.
When Minho woke up, he frowned upon hearing voices coming from the kitchen : it seemed his mother and father were having a conversation with someone else. Who ever could it be at this hour of the morning, getting along so well with Mr and Mrs Lee? With a groan, Minho got up, and walked to the kitchen, rubbing his eyes. He came to a stop when he saw who was there, sitting at the table, holding a cup of coffee in his hands, a bright smile on his lips. This just had to be a nightmare.
