Little Talks

Minho didn't look back. He shoved his hands in his pockets, trying to ignore the feeling of Han's fingers on his skin, or the feeling of Han's lips on his own. It was as if they were still kissing, as if he hadn't walked away, as if Han wasn't far, but close, so close. Minho shivered, despite his skin still burning and tingling. His shirt was a little undone, and tucked out of his trousers.
Just as he thought he would finally be out of this place, a hand grabbed his arm, forcing him to a stop. Minho sighed and looked at the person holding his arm. Deep down, he had wished it was Jisung. But it was none other than Chan, his hair messy, looking as if he had just run.
"Are you okay?" Chan asked.
"I'm fine, but are you?" Minho asked, concern laced in his voice.
"I was just looking for you. I- I was just worried." Chan replied. Minho's eyes flickered to the hand holding his arm. Chan noticed, and quickly let go. “Sorry,” he mumbled. Minho only smiled.
“I have to leave, but I’ll see you tomorrow, right?” Minho softly said. Chan nodded, letting Minho go. He felt like he had missed his chance, and he wanted to go after him, but before he could call after Minho, he heard a voice behind him calling him. Chan turned around, only to see Seungmin standing in front of him, fiddling with his fingers, his cheeks slightly flushed, and a shy smile on his lips.
“Hey, Seungmin,” Chan replied.
“Jisung said I might find you here,” Seungmin continued, scratching the back of his head. Chan stopped himself from rolling his eyes : Jisung was a pain in the ass. “I hope I’m not- bothering or…-”
“No, not at all!” Chan interrupted. “Do you wanna get some food or drinks?”
“Sure!”
Chan gave a quick glance towards Minho who was already disappearing in the dark of the night, then looked at Seungmin with a smile. "Let's go."
Seungmin mirrored Chan's smile, and followed him. He knew Chan was longing for Minho, he knew that he probably didn't stand any chance, yet he tried. Maybe Chan could change his mind…
Minho called a taxi, and quickly reached his parents' penthouse. They were having dinner, and it seemed Minho was interrupting. He quickly excused himself, apologising for not answering his parents' questions, pretending he was extremely tired, and hurried to his bedroom. He changed into his pajamas, and crawled under the blankets before switching his lamp off. But sleep took its sweet time to come to him. And Minho couldn't help but think about that kiss once again. It felt like Jisung's warm lips were still on his, his tongue still gliding against his bottom lip, his hot breath grazing the skin of his neck and jaw, his fiery eyes still burning into his own… Minho tossed and turned in his bed for a while before finally falling into an agitated sleep. When he woke up the next morning, he was still very confused, and he got up and went to university with his stomach twisted into a tight knot of anxiety.
Minho walked into the corridors of the university, glancing around, hoping Jisung wouldn't suddenly show up and slam him against a wall, kissing him again. He actually hoped to not see Jisung at all that day. When a hand stopped him by grabbing his wrist, Minho jumped in such an obvious and harsh manner, that the person holding his arm couldn't help but chuckle before being worried.
"Minho, it's just me…"
Minho sighed in relief. It was just Chan. "Hey Chan hyung."
"Did something happen to you?" Chan asked, worried. "I've never seen you this jumpy…"
