It was now the day before the 1-A students had to go back to school. Kira and Midoriya were positioned on the couch, the latter shoved against the right side of it. He'd been somewhat avoiding Kira ever since they kissed and the girl didn't really understand why. She hadn't made any efforts to bring it up as well, but she wasn't avoiding him all together. Midoriya kept the talking to a minimum and every time they were in a room together he'd scooch away from her, like right now.

Kira was just comfortably laying on one side of the couch, but Midoriya sat as straight as a ruler on the opposite side. His face was funny though, his eyes were wide for no reason and sweat glistened on his forehead. A constant blush was present as well. His hands were on his knees as if when they moved he'd receive a beating. Kira glanced at him from the corner of her eye again and sighed while biting her cheek. This was just awkward, the tension in the air would make anybody want to leave.

Having enough of his behaviour, Kira sat up straight while facing Midoriya, said boy flinching from her sudden movement but making no move to look her way. "Okay, spit it out. What's your deal?" asked Kira maybe a bit too harshly, but I mean, come on, right? Midoriya gulped before readjusting his position a bit, still not looking at her. "W-whatever do you mean? I'm acting completely normal right now", stuttered the boy in return. 

Kira grabbed his shoulder to make him face her. She felt like she was talking to a wall. Midoriya glanced in her direction before looking away again. "Is it about the kiss?" asked Kira casually. Midoriya however, felt his face flame up to a dangerously high temperature as he awkwardly chuckled. "W-what?! N-no of course not! Haha, why would it be about the k-kiss?" Kira's face contorted into one of disappointment, thinking that Midoriya didn't want the kiss to happen in the first place, maybe that's why he was being so weird. 

"Do you.. regret it or something? Because if you do-" Midoriya quickly faced her and started waving his hands around in disagreement. "What?! No no no, I don't regret k-kissing you at all!" shouted Midoriya with a high pitched voice. "So then why are you avoiding me? Did I do something wrong? Was it not a nice kiss? You wanna kiss again so it's better?" Kira leaned forward, ready to give Midoriya a kiss he'd like but was pushed back by Midoriya against her shoulders.

"N-no Kira it isn't anything like that, the kiss was great! It's just... I'm not sure what we are right now, you know? That kind of confuses me. Plus, I-I've never kissed a girl before so I'm trying to process the fact that I... kissed you. You didn't do anything wrong, I'm just being a coward about things. I'm sorry I made you feel that way", spoke Midoriye honestly. Kira relaxed back into her position, relieved to know that Midoriya didn't regret the kiss. 

"So then, you wanna talk about it? So you don't have to avoid me anymore", asked the girl. Midoriya gave her a smile before answering. "I just... I wanna do things right. And I don't think right now is the best moment to talk about everything. I wanna find a good moment and place so we're both comfortable! B-but, when I ask you out... I want everything to be perfect, so please, all I'm asking is for you to wait for me to figure this out."

Kira smiled back at the greenette, happy to know how much effort Midoriya was willing to put into this. "So you wanna plan a date?" Midoriya rubbed the back of his neck and looked towards the side, a blush evident on his cheeks. "Y-yeah, but I just want it to be perfect. B-because you deserve the absolute best, so I wanna give you the very best I've got." Kira blushed a light shade of pink before agreeing to his idea. 

Midoriya, feeling more comfortable than before, scooted over towards her, glancing in her direction for a fleeting second. Kira took this opportunity to lay her head on his lap, continuing to watch the movie they put on. Midoriya felt like he could die, but after a few moments, his hand came up to play with her hair. Kira enjoyed the feeling of his hand on her head, so now they were both comfortably watching the movie together.
