Kira can alter the structure of the energy she emits. In the previous chapter, she basically made a lasso and controlled the trajectory of her energy to grab Todoroki's headband! It takes a lot of energy for her to change mass so she'll only use it in emergency situations until she manages to gain better control. This move was also a trump card, so if she failed to control her energy, she wouldn't have gotten the headband.
Current abilities:
1- Energy beam: Kira can shoot beams from her palms as a way to attack in long range.
2- Energy blasts: Kira can shoot blasts of energy from her palm as offence and other purposes, like blasting herself off the ground.
3- Energy shields: Kira can put up a wall of energy in front of her as defence to protect her from incoming attacks.
4- Energy lasso: Kira can alter the shape and mass of her energy beam and control it to her own will.
There are some moves that are yet to be discovered but I'll make sure she doesn't get too overpowered!

This is what you can imagine for Kira's quirk! It kinda looks like fire but it's just raw energy. Try to use your imagination for the fighting scenes ;)
