my eyes got used to not seeing your face
although my heart never seemed to get through your unforgettable maze
it's hard getting over someone
you used to couldn't stop thinking about
sure, deleting the texts, them from your life would've worked, I had no doubt
but the taste of their spirit wouldn't fade
they'd still be here, but you'd never be their soulmate
the thing about moving on?
you've gotta let go of the thoughts you've been holding on
they say: what eye don't see, mind don't crave
I would choose you again
knowing I'd never be safe
